Had a heart attack and in hospital due to meth abuse, not serious

Good to hear you are back to (100)

Honestly, I would rather be poor and have good health than be wealthy and have poor health.

Feeling very good tonight! Feel almost 100% What an ordeal! Just so much money spent on the wrong thing?

Nothing better than laughing at our experiences. I ALWAYS use it as motivation when I am going through some sort of very bad situation. Always keep in mind that the worst will be gone soon and some day you will be laughing remembering the experience.

Good to have you fully functional!

I pray for you big DLD.Dont worry you will be back soon .Sometime we need to be tested by this way and be in touch with our spirtual life ,and find out that we are a blessed specemen in this world

I'm so glad to hear this has turned around, DLD!

A scare like this is still a great opportunity to take stock of your lifestyle and see if there aren't any ways you can take better care of yourself. I seem to recall you mentioning, for example, that you've fallen off the wagon a bit in terms of working out? It's amazing what just walking around plenty every day will do to strengthen your heart and lungs. You don't have to go back to your old weightlifting days. ;) Be well!!

SO damn glad to hear the good news Brother!
Now here's where the coach in me comes out; I'm really involved with our local YMCA down here, so I'm tellin' ya true: Getchyer ass into the gym.
Treadmill, swim, weights, sauna...we got it all.
They got workout plans for every-body, even those just one step away from old-fart-hood!

So weird I see this post because the doctor just called about coming in for additional testing. They want me to go through some stress test which will happen on Wednesday. I’ll let you know the results. And thank you so much for your reply.

Ive done stress tests before. If younger do cardio you will score very bad. But is nothing to worry or be scared about it. However you will be recommended to start exercising and do cardio to improve that cardiac pulmonary capacity. It is believed that the cardio exercise helps to keep blood vessels in better shape.

When you were originally admitted with symptoms which mimicked a heart attack, I would have expected that they tested you for certain ‘cardio enzymes’ known to indicate that portions of the heart may have been starved of oxygen. Did they mention this? Were the results negative? Just wondering why they would suggest a stress test if there was no evidence that your symptoms involved a cardiovascular event. Stress tests typically will only catch very severe problems related to valves, chambers and arteries. They are just another data point. Many people have gotten a clean bill of health after a stress test and had a major event the following week. Are they planning on using contrast during the test?

My oxygen levels were at 71% at the hospital, very dangerous level! My last test they returned to 95%.

But your low oxygen level was because of your respiratory issue. An artery blockage in the heart or lungs would not spontaneously resolve itself. Did any other test result point to a diagnosis of cardiovascular disease

No, but they still want to do the stress test. I’m game for anything, if Insurance wants to pay to look me over and give me all kinds of expensive tests go for it! The more I know the better.

how are you feeling overall? Are you less fatigued? Did that 'drowning' sensation finally subside? So thankful you were able to get help/treatment before This Administration 'cut you off' :)
