It takes your body up to three months to develop antibodies to HIV. Since the tests are looking for antibodies, wait three months to go back for testing.
I agree, that's what I did back in 2001 when I got an HIV - scare. (I was only 21/22 years old and went on a mad sexual experimental spree…) Fuck, awful times... the uncertainty is a killer. Thank God I tested negative. Remember to learn from your mistakes.
