Hello everyone -- I'm a brand new member to MoS and I thought it would be a good idea to share my ongoing journey with male enhancement. My successes, my failures, my gains, my plateaus, and all the stuff in-between.

STARTING MEASUREMENTS AS OF APRIL 19 2021:
  • NBPEL: 15cm (6 in)
  • BPEL: 15.4cm (6.1 in)
  • Erect Girth: 12cm measured at mid-shaft (4.72 in)
  • Flaccid Non Bone-Pressed Length: 9cm (3.5 in)
  • Flaccid Bone-Pressed Length: 10.5cm (4.13 in)
  • Flaccid Girth: 10cm measured at mid-shaft (3.94 in)
IDEAL MEASUREMENTS:
  • NBPEL: 19.05 cm (7.5 in)
  • BPEL: 19.5cm (7.67 in)
  • Erect Girth: 15cm measured at mid-shaft (6 in)
  • Flaccid measurements: ??? (will see when the time comes)
I believe with consistency and commitment, I can achieve my ideal measurements within 1-2 years and make them more-or-less permanent.

I've always wanted a bigger penis but never really knew how to go about it. Heard mixed things about it, was told by other people "not to worry" about my size. But I truly believe there's a big difference between what people say they want and what they actually want.

And the last thing I want to be is just average when I know I could be so much more!

CURRENT ROUTINE:

For my first month, I'm going to be following Good Looking Loser's Bathmate Routine For Newbies using the brand-new Bathmate HydroMax30 I just purchased. Brief summary of what it's all about is below.
  • Week 1 = use the Bathmate in a flaccid state every other day for 8 minutes, full pressure
  • Week 2 = use the Bathmate in a flaccid state every other day for 12 minutes, full pressure
  • Week 3 = use the Bathmate in a 70-80% erect state every other day for 8-10 minutes, full pressure
  • Week 4 = use the Bathmate in a 70-80% erect state every other day for 10-12 minutes, full pressure
  • Week 5 and beyond = use the Bathmate fully erect for 12-15 minutes, 4-5 times per week
My goal is to get used to the pressure exerted on my penis by the Bathmate and master the water pump. Learn the best ways to use it for my body, observe the changes happening to my penis, and so on. I intend to take full measurements once the first month is up, see what happens and then take on a more elaborate routine with more devices and/or stretches.

Let me know what you all think of this plan. If you have any helpful tips or comments to share, I'm all ears

I have already done two days of the Bathmate, so I'll catch up and post what I've already completed so far.

I did the following small routine to ease into the Bathmate. After warming up in a hot shower for five minutes, it was three sets of two exercises:
  • 5 minutes with the Bathmate on: Using it in the shower, entering in a flaccid state, maximum pressure
  • 3 minutes of massaging the penis (some loose jelqing, stretching, etc.)
Honestly, I have never felt so much pressure on my penis before. Compared to the crappy air pump I used a few months ago, I can already tell this is the real deal. My penis expanded up to the 5.5 in reading on the Bathmate and it looked super-thick when looking at it.

But for some odd reason I cannot get hands-free suction like everyone else. I had to hold the Bathmate the entire time I was wearing it with one hand. Otherwise it would have fallen off from my pubic bone within 10 seconds. Even with maximum pressure and pumping.

When I took off the Bathmate after all was said and done, I didn't notice anything different about my penis. No red dots, no discoloration, or anything worrisome. But there were no measurable differences in length or girth. At the very most, I could argue what looked like a semi-erect dick is what my new flaccid state would look like.

I got rock hard around 45 minutes later and I was at the exact same starting measurements. So no immediate temporary gains, but I did enter in flaccid and it was my very first day.

Hopefully things change in 1 month from now!

Feeling comfortable with yesterday's session, I decided to go one step further and apply max pressure to my penis in a flaccid state for 8 minutes straight with the Bathmate.

It was a disaster. I wrote about it in detail on a separate post in the Bathmate forum, but here's a summary:
  • When I use the Bathmate while flaccid, the maximum I can pump to is 4.75in on the Bathmate reading, with or without the comfort ring. I don't know if I should expect to reach 6in on the Bathmate reading if I enter flaccid and pump to max pressure.
  • For the life of me I cannot get the hands-free air-tight seal everyone else gets. I varied my pumping speed (rapid short pumps vs long slow pumps spaced out over 30-60 seconds), shaved my pubes to the point where there's no more hair, closing the valve immediately after water gets pumped out for a tighter seal.
  • If I use the Bathmate fully erect, I can only get under 0.5-1.0 inches of my starting BPEL (according to the Bathmate reading) after 1-2 minutes and I cannot get back to a 100% erection while inside. I did this for 2 minutes just to see if pumping while flaccid was the big mistake I was making. Even if I watch dirty movies before starting, it's the same outcome.
  • For some weird reason and despite all of the above, the Bathmate DLD stretch where you extend the pump away from your body works extremely well. I immediately felt my internal penis stretched. So it's working, just not normally as you would expect.
With this in mind, I'm going to try the following options in order:
  • Applying the Bathmate in the bathtub instead of the shower
  • Applying the Bathmate in different positions, such as sideways and inverted
  • Using Vaseline. @DLD - Is it safe for me to put this on either the comfort pad or the rubber gaiters themselves without damaging the Bathmate?
  • Using a simple mod with the VacuVin as suggested by @Big Schwanz Acht to see if I can generate enough pressure to go hands-free
On a positive note, no negative signs of fatigue or over-use. I can still get rock-hard to my normal size and everything appears functional to me.

@DLD - if you have any tips for how to solve my dilemma, they would be very helpful!

Here's what I did with the Bathmate today:

  • Ran a hot bath up to waist level when I'm sitting down in the tub.
  • Warmed myself up for 5 minutes.
  • Put the Bathmate on as you would while in the tub
  • Entered flaccid and did not use the comfort ring.
  • Increased the pressure every 30 seconds to max pressure (around the 2 minute mark)
  • Maintained max pressure for a total of 9 minutes
This was effective! I managed to get up to the 5.5in reading on the Bathmate, and the latter half of the session had me at 5.75in.

Unfortunately, there is one weakness with using the Bathmate in the tub. It's a lot harder to do the internal penis stretches with the Bathmate on and I don't feel them the same way as when I'm doing them standing up.

Just for fun, I tried this again by putting the Bathmate on while taking a shower for 2 minutes (full pressure, flaccid). I was able to do the same thing again standing up and get up to 5.75in on the Bathmate reading.

No negative signs of fatigue, red dots, discoloration, or anything to worry about.

My only concerns at this point are the following:
  • My dick tends to get stuck as I do the first 1-2 pumps. I have to shake the Bathmate quite a bit so it doesn't stay bent forward or attach to much to the bottom of the Bathmate.
  • Even with all of the changes made thus far, I still cannot get to the point of hands-free suction. While in the bath, if I let go of the Bathmate completely, the pump will gradually lose suction on my body (but not as quickly as when I'm standing up).
  • When I clean the Bathmate with the towel that came with the cleaning kit, some tiny "residues" from the towel seem to stick on the rubber of the Bathmate. This easily goes away with a small water rinse, but I'm curious if anybody else had noticed the same thing.
I'm out of town for the weekend and return Sunday, so I'm going to be using the Bathmate again then. My plan for next week:
  • Warmup for 5 minutes in the shower
  • Use the Bathmate standing up without the comfort ring.
  • Enter flaccid
  • Apply max pressure for a total of 12 minutes
Ideally I want to do this for a total of 5 times next week, and then I plan to enter the Bathmate fully erect.

Let me know what you guys think. If you know how to resolve any of the issues I'm facing, I'm all ears!

Have you looked into the 5×5×3? This is a very good pumping routine that will bring much better tissue expansion with minimal fluid retention. There’s no comparison to the 5×5×3 no matter who tells you. It is the only girth workout that can bring up to and beyond an inch of temporary growth. And gaining girth is all about temporary growth becoming permanent and new temporary growth comes and the process is repeated.

you will see some length but not as much as you would if you were doing length specific exercises. The BM on its own brings mainly girth but you will see slight growth. In order to grow length the quickest would be by implementing length exercise

You always do you’re bundled stretching before any routine. The reason for doing this is because the limitations on growth or mainly the density of the tunica. Bundled stretching pre-stretch is the tunica allowing for you to take on more growth.

unfortunately we have videos for neither. We plan to film these if no one else comes out with a video for us. But I can explain both in words that should make it easy for you to understand. Bundled stretching is simply twisting your flaccid penis like a corkscrew and stretching it out as in all directions taking advantage of every angle.

Rotary stretches are basically grabbing your flaccid penis pulling it out straight in front of you and then do rotations as if you’re stirring a pot of soup. You can make big circles or small circles to hit every angle.

Let me know if these descriptions help you.

Here's what I did with the Bathmate today:

  • Warmed myself up for 5 minutes in a hot shower
  • Before applying Bathmate, applied smear of Vaseline on the seal of the rubber gaiter
  • Put the Bathmate on as you would while in the shower, standing up
  • Entered flaccid and did not use the comfort ring.
  • Increased the pressure every 30 seconds to max pressure (2 minutes total)
There were some pros and cons of attaching the Bathmate this way, the cons outweighing the pros:
  • PRO: The Bathmate definitely stuck to my base more than without vaseline. It wasn't 100% hands-free, but I could hold it less and not worry about the Bathmate slipping off
  • PRO: Entering in flaccid and pumping at max pressure, I was able to reach the 6in reaching on the Bathmate (versus 5.75in in my previous pumping session). I really felt the pressure on my penis, more than last time for sure.
  • CON: Vaseline is a total bitch to wash off completely, even off my own hands. I had to scrub the ever-loving shit out of my Bathmate with a lot of warm water and dish soap for every last trace of Vaseline to go away
  • CON: Showering in hot water for five minutes doesn't really make my balls hang long and down. As a result, even though my right testicle didn't get sucked in, I felt an unusual amount of pressure/pain in the "thing" that connects the balls to the body (I believe it's the vas deferens).
It didn't feel right after a few tries, so I went back to applying the Bathmate in a bathtub with hot water:
  • My balls hung super low after just 2 minutes of being in the bathtub. I don't know what it is, but for some reason my balls can easily relax and get far out of the way of my penis
  • I entered in flaccid without the comfort ring and was able to pump to max pressure up to the 6in reading again.
  • I maintained max pressure for 10 minutes.
  • Suction was so much better here. I could let go of the Bathmate for short periods of time without worrying about it slipping off.
  • I also find it's much easier to keep my penis perfectly aligned with the Bathmate so it doesn't fold forward, curve to the left/right, or get stuck on any of the sides of the Bathmate.
  • I practiced some expansion stretches just for fun and I'm getting better at them. Expanding straight out still feels like a hell of a stretch, but I'm finally starting to feel sideways/downwards stretches.
  • By minute 5 or so, I was really feeling the workout. I was pushing my dick to its limit and I could feel the expansion. Felt relieved when the 10 minutes was finally over.
@DLD Thank you for all the helpful guidance you've given me so far. But the bathtub method of using the Bathmate outshines everything I've tried and it's not even close.

Like last time, no negative signs of fatigue, red dots, discoloration, or anything to worry about. Good sign I haven't reached the point of overworking myself.

I was able to get hard again shortly after and I was at my same starting size (6in BPEL, 4.72in erect mid-shaft girth). There was somewhat less sensitivity, but I think this a natural outcome of the pump (or the leftover Vaseline I could not wash off, who knows). I want to say I had a temporary length pump 0.1 in for BPEL, but I don't want to make any sure statements based on one measurement that may not be accurate or consistent.

@DLD I think things will really start to move forward once I enter the Bathmate fully erect by the end of the week. I'm getting better at using the Bathmate and I can't wait to try the bathtub method again tomorrow night when I enter in flaccid and pump to max pressure for 11 minutes. Plus, something about the bathtub allows me to relax and unwind better than a shower. (cwl)

Have you tried the bundled rotary stretches? They sound very interesting. I would also try bundled rotary stretches expressively, I bet they give a hell of a work out.

Here's what I did with the Bathmate today:

  • Entered flaccid and did not use the comfort ring.
  • Increased the pressure every 30 seconds to max pressure (around the 2 minute mark)
  • Maintained max pressure for a total of 11 minutes
Unfortunately, this session did not go as well as I would like. Here's why:
  • It took me a total of 25 minutes to keep re-entering the Bathmate flaccid until I got into a position where
    • ( a ) my dick won't fold forward against the inner rubber gaiter
    • ( b ) my dick wasn't bending to the left or right
    • ( c ) my dick wasn't bending against the bottom of the clear plastic cylinder once max pressure was achieved
  • At one point I got so frustrated I seriously considered throwing my Bathmate against the other end of the bathtub. I was just fed up with being unable to get the right entry
  • Eventually I got an imperfect entry with my dick bending slightly forward against the plastic. It was the best I could do, so I pumped to max pressure
  • Sadly I wasn't able to reach the 6in reading on the Bathmate. Best I could do was between 5.25in and 5.5in (inched toward 5.5in in the last 3/4ths of my session)
  • To make matters worse I was already at max pressure. The gaiters were as compressed as humanly possible and I couldn't pump another drop of water out of my Bathmate
At least there were no negative signs of fatigue, red dots, discoloration, or anything to worry about. Dick still works and can get rock hard at my starting size shortly after the pumping session.

@DLD I have a couple of questions to ask you, given today's blunder:
  • Should I ditch entering the Bathmate flaccid and transition straight towards entering fully erect? Or 70-80% erect at the very least
  • Is there something wrong with my dick that won't allow me to get a clean entry? I'm cut/circumcised, for what it's worth
  • How do I fix being unable to get the perfect entry (dick stays right in the middle of the Bathmate, doesn't fold or touch the walls/gaiters)? Off the top of my head the only viable fix is to insert myself such that the Bathmate is pointing straight up at the wall.
Today's session wasn't the best but I'm glad I chose not to give up. An imperfect workout is better than no workout. I'm in this for the long haul so one bad session means nothing in the grand scheme.

Hoping tomorrow's session will fare better for me.

If anyone else can chime in with their experiences or fixes I'd be deeply grateful!
 
Always enter the pump erect and you should subside to about 90% which is the optimum
  • There is nothing wrong with your penis I just suggest that you enter erect and this should solve your issues but I have more information that will also help.

  • As I said if you enter your Bathmate erect this should deal with things. But I highly advise you to change his routine and go with the 5×5×3. You’re going to see much better expansion and you’re gonna have much more ease with erections.

  • Increased the pressure every 30 seconds to max pressure (around the 2 minute mark)

In hindsight I used less warm water than the last time to avoid burning my balls off when I got in the tub. It was still warm, but lukewarm. With a bit more heat, I think I've found a happy medium where I get the right amount of warmth without feeling so uncomfortable to the point where I can't even hop in the tub.

The weird part was when I entered the Bathmate but before I started pumping, my dick was at the 5in mark. Is the Bathmate reading accurate at all??

Kept myself hard in the tub for 5 minutes while I was warming up and watching a dirty movie. Insertion was as good as I could ask for. Will need to play around with the angles a bit, but it's so much easier than entering in flaccid and it's not even a close contest.

My dick went all the way up to 6in on the Bathmate reading and wouldn't go further than that with maximum pressure. I would have liked to reach the 6.25in mark, yet it's my first time entering 100% erect so I won't be too hard on myself.

Unfortunately, something happened at around the 6 minute mark.

I had this wonderful idea of watching dirty movies while in the Bathmate and occasionally doing kegels to maintain 100% hardness. The combination of the movie, the kegels, and the pressure of the Bathmate was too much.

I BUSTED HARD INSIDE THE BATHMATE!

It's been around 2 weeks since I last jacked off, so try to imagine a nearly opaque grey cloud inside the Bathmate for 1-2 minutes before my load dissolved. I swear I must have spent 15 seconds shooting nonstop before I was finally finished.

Luckily my dick stayed at the 5.75in reading on the Bathmate for the rest of the session, so it's not like I lost my pump (I was at max pressure after all).

When the session was over I took my dick out. As every other session, I had a somewhat longer and girthier member for 5 minutes. Can't expect much when you shot out bricks just a few minutes earlier haha.

STILL no negative signs of fatigue, red dots, discoloration, or anything to worry about. My entire dick overall looks a shade darker but it's hard to say if the lighting made it appear that way.

While a part of me is happy about this, a part of me also worries I'm not getting enough pressure on my penis to stimulate growth, even when I already have the Bathmate on at max pressure.

@DLD since I haven't seen any negative signs of over-use, should I be concerned about not getting enough of a pump at max pressure if I don't experience any of the visuals signs of pumping too much?

@DLD also, should I expect to pump to a greater length inside the Bathmate than my normal 100% erect size? It's fine for now, but I'm under the assumption you eventually expand in the Bathmate.

Here are some helpful reminders to myself when I pump again tomorrow:
  • Get the right temperature of bathwater. Not lukewarm, but not scalding hot to the point where entering the bathtub makes me jump out a second later (around 90% of my shower's max temperature)
  • Warming up with dirty movies in the bathtub before entering is OK. Watching them and doing kegels at the same time while inside the Bathmate is NOT OK.
  • If I do kegels, make sure I don't have any adult material around me.
  • If I watch adult movies while in the Bathmate, take an occasional peak to maintain 100% hardness and then close it right away.
Looking forward to tomorrow. If I don't bust while inside the Bathmate 100% erect for 11 minutes straight, I fully expect to whip out a hard cock that's longer and thicker than what I'm currently packing! (fire)

I’m so happy that solve your problems, I knew it would. The only other information I can give you to improve this is to be sure that you Kegels consistently as you train. This will allow even greater blood flow to your penis and in effect growing it much faster. You always want to see greater expansion than your normal girth after you have trained. Even if it’s a fraction of an inch it’s important to see that you are bringing expansion. So after your session measure your girth immediately and this will tell you what your routine is working.

Today was probably the best Bathmate session I've ever had. A few wins were achieved:
  • Managed to get the right temperature of bathwater, and can probably do it a little hotter next time.
  • Got a near perfect entry into the Bathmate -- if I insert it with my dick sliding across the bottom of the Bathmate, I can get a good pump without pressure being applied to my vas deferens.
  • Actually pumped my dick all the way to 6.25in on the Bathmate reading (NEW RECORD) -- my dick went between 6in and 6.25in on the Bathmate reading, but nothing a small extra pump couldn't fix
  • Did not need to watch dirty movies in order to maintain my size within the Bathmate
  • Most importantly, did not blow my load inside the Bathmate ;)
But there was one loss: When I took out my dick after using the Bathmate, it was the same longer and girthier flaccid member I had yesterday.

No "longer and wider" erection or temporary gains like advocates promise when you use the Bathmate 100% erect. I'm starting to wonder if this was an over-exaggerated claim or if I'm just not doing something right.

After 1.5 weeks of doing everything in my power to get a good Bathmate pump, combined with reading an absurd number of articles and forum posts about using the Bathmate, I've finally locked on something that works for me so far.

@DLD I have some unanswered questions to bring up about my use of the Bathmate thus far:
  • Since I didn't see any negative signs today or in prior sessions (fatigue, red dots, discoloration, etc), should I be concerned about not getting enough of a pump at max pressure if I don't experience any of the visuals signs of pumping too much
  • Should I expect to pump to a greater length inside the Bathmate than my normal 100% erect size? I was able to do it today, but I'm under the assumption you gradually expand how much space you take up in the Bathmate over time
  • Is it normal to exit the pump and not be 100% erect like I was when I entered the Bathmate?
@DLD - I also wanted to address the points you brought up in your most recently reply:

"The only other information I can give you to improve this is to be sure that you Kegels consistently as you train. This will allow even greater blood flow to your penis and in effect growing it much faster."

Am I doing these Kegels while inside the Bathmate, or before/after my pumping session?

"You always want to see greater expansion than your normal girth after you have trained. Even if it’s a fraction of an inch it’s important to see that you are bringing expansion. So after your session measure your girth immediately and this will tell you what your routine is working."

I'm not quite sure I understand. Am I supposed to measure my (flaccid) dick immediately after using the Bathmate and compare this to my starting flaccid bone-pressed length and mid-size girth? Or am I supposed to get 100% erect again as fast as possible and then measure to compare against my starting BPEL/MSEG?

Tomorrow, I use the Bathmate 100% erect at max pressure for 12 minutes straight. Going to go up a minute each session until I get to 15 minutes and then keep it there... or should I push myself and try to go for a single 20-minute session?
