DSD Progress log

Everything is ordered. I did same day on hydrocortisone. Though things look a lot better overnight. It's mostly outer foreskin under glans that is still darker color. I never used the bacitracin or hydrocortisone cream on my junk before. Everywhere I looked said it wasn't appropriate for that type of skin. But maybe once a week would be good.

I also have a 3600rpm motor and velcro straps coming as well. Going to have a go at the DIY vibration while pumping. That is assuming it isn't super loud or I can get the house alone.

Couple things to try when I am back on this Sunday and after..

-I want to try alternating using ice for 2-3 minutes then heat and see what effect it has on me.
-Instead of using a microfiber cloth, I actually have some therabands that should work better for bundled stretching.
-gonna wash junk with a light cleanser THEN put oxball stretcher on so it keeps excess skin pulled down better without oils
-lock down a good pelvic floor routine - stretches, kegels, reverse kegels etc
-DIY 'phalback' - 3600rpm turned to like 60% velcroed to tube. Thinking I might attach with sponge inbetween. I might alternate this with heatwrap.
-Slowly progressing up to 12Hg pressure. Currently at 10Hg max. Unsure when I'll be able to tolerate.
-Might go back to using mitysleeve - anything to make sure I'm not creating more excess skin around base

For me, using the LM, I tend to wrap the TheraBand tightly, while squeezing the blood out as I wrap.

I also cut the flexible bandage wrap down to 1.5ft long or so. Just enoug to cover the penile segment to prevent discomfort from the plates.

Vibration motor and velcro strap have arrived! They attach quite well once I pump again.

Wow, the vibration motor is quite good. Smooth and quiet as long as it isn't against something hard. I strapped it to my fleshlight and it was unreal. I am somewhat worried about my hands being exposed to the vibration for a long period of time. At least there is cooldown between pumps.

Man, I hope this discoloration isn't permanent. I thought it was getting better but apparently not. I might have to go no fap as well.
 
ordered some vitamin E oil. Going to try icing a few times today and using vitamin E. Will see if it works on the hyperpigmentation. It really would be a waste to make my cock bigger but less good looking. I've gotten compliments from women on the healthy color and consistency.

If you are talking about the glans, best to use liquid Vit E for now. Don't apply any salicylic acid from other discussion. If you are talking about the shaft, then salicylic acid may work very well for you in lightening the skin color back due to blood components breaking down and depositing in the skin.

Penile shaft discoloration is quite common. Use salicylic acid for a few weeks and see if it makes any difference. I used it in the past after PE to lighten and restore the natural color tones.
 
7/20/24 Used vitamin E twice today and did 2x 20min icing then 20mins medium heat.

I might be fine with taking a longer break if I can do maintenance to keep my high pressure tolerance and also heal the hyperpigmentation.
 
I think I might need to quit PE for a while. The red dots and discoloration are just crazy. I genuinely don't like how my dick looks or feels. I just did my first pump in a week in water and edema and red dots are quite bad. red dots cover about 2/3 of shaft.

I'm not sure how I went wrong or whether this is an indication of the Ehlers-danlos.

I wasn't even getting the red dots in the beginning although I went quite slow. You'd think I'd have built up some tolerance but they are worse than I've ever seen. I don't know what is wrong with my skin. It pains me to think I might not have gained any size and spent probably hundreds of hours at this point. My first note of red dots was end of May but that was just a few and they'd be gone pretty quickly. And that was before I ever made note of edema though I am sure I had some just wasn't puffy. Looks like through June I started getting more consistent speckles of red dots. End of June I had started calling it discoloration about 1 inch band below inner foreskin. This is roughly in line with starting to pump in bath although edema has been relatively low pumping in bath and my 2nd session was always dry.

I don't know what I want to do. I am so impatient, especially still being out of work and fractured toe. Maybe I don't have the discipline to do PE safely. But things really only turned bad without the last month or so.. which is probably about when I started going more consistently to 8Hg. And now I am doing 10Hg. Manual work has actually been less than before. Being patient for things to heal when you don't even know if they will is so frustrating. At least with my foot, I can feel it getting better though it destroyed my progress in the gym.

Although the lighting here is a bit unnatural, my grooming left much to be desired, and the sink is a big faux pas, this was taken in May 2023 and shows my fairly homogenous tone, slightly darker than my normal skintone.

If I have to say, it's your fascia tissues (the lower skin layers of the penis) is thinning, your skin is stressed from hyper expansion from the higher pressures and allow more blood components to merge upward. A good rest will restore and strengthen your tissues. You can cement your gains now just keeping it elongated as long as you can throughout the day.

What's a good rest though? I just took a week off from pumping or manual work. I've been using redlight, icing, heat, vitamin E, changed my coconut oil to fresh bottle with pump. I've kept everything clean and dry but moisturized. I've been sleeping 8hrs a night.

As DLD said, the rest can be as simple as flaccid work without erection to prevent the purpura from manifesting. I still get purpura, the red and purple spottings, from time to time when I exceeded my common expansion levels. I tend to push past 0.75in of extra circumference expansion while my superficial tissues are still weak, trying to take advantage of it. It's just your body telling you that you went a little too far and the superfiscial tissues is under quite a bit of stretching stresses and need bit of rest to strengthen the tissues.

However, it doesn't mean you should stop PE. PE can be switched from girth to length. If you're still going for length, use the Length Master or manual stretches to perform longitudinal gains while allowing lateral tissues to strengthen up and healing. All flaccid, no erection past its normal internal pressure.

If you're not chasing after length any more, just wrap. Allow rest up to 1 month. From there, work only with lower pressures first, between 5 to 6inHg only for a week, then slowly up to 5inHg to 7inHg for the next week. You are conditioning your tissues again for higher pressure zone. If purpura still manifest, at lower pressure, tissues are still young and tender. Rather than 1 month, go for 2 months of rest. Don't stop on the elongation PE, be actively with the Length Master or with just wrapping.

Overall, you're fine. Most of us still have some purpura development when when we are fully conditioned. We may not see it, but a few spots are still developed.

Definitely. Bundles are perfectly fine. Just allow a few days of rest first so your tissues can heal up and then pursue bundles. As DLD suggested, don't go crazy with erected penis routines. Blemishes will continue to show up if you don't allow the sufficient time for the tissues to heal.

I had to at least try my new motor on pump cylinder. It was amazing. I only went up to 5Hg for 30s on 1st and 6Hg for 30s on 2nd pump. It was a bit late at night so I didn't get up to 2400rpm as supposedly needed. 1800rpm at most. Felt like I was gonna nut going any higher. Definitely will be very effective in the future.

I should've flipped to side that had the ruler so it was easier. But even at just 6Hg I was around 9 inches.

Too bad can't combine water and the vibrations. Or at least would be very difficult.

You can use with water, but make sure to have a massive water trap of 2 liters or more. Unfortunately, you have to keep the cylinder vertical at all time. That will cause your vibrating motor usage to a difficult position.

Unfortunately, the cylinder designers could not create a dual-valve system at the top without compromising the cylinder under vacuum pressure. The dual valve is for water in and water out. They tried to make the dual-valve cylinder and the top area cracked multiple times on different cylinder sizes under 20 inHg. They even put a V-valve system on the single-valve cylinder as well. It worked, but not enough fluid to fill the cylinder and pressure building up was very slow. It took nearly 3 times the pumping just to achieve the needed pressures. They have to redesign the V-valve properly, without causing accidental puncture if the penis goes too high into the cylinder.
 
I wonder whether water pumping is more heavily contributing to the red dots and discoloration. First time I ever got the red dots was from bathmate. My feeling is that water pumping tends to have less edema and better overall expansion. But maybe more discoloration? At least for me. Could it be that increases in pressure while water pumping are more quickly translated to the tissues?

No, it's not just water. It happens with air as well. It's more about internal pressure vs vacuum pressure. When the internal pressure is lacking or over exerted, and the external pressure is higher than the penis skin and tissues can handle, you get the red dots, or blemishes.

Yes. Under optimal conditions, such as internal pressure is maxed out, vacuum pressure also rises, the volume of blood exceeded the fascia layers' handling capacity. Gaps are created and the blood seeps through into the skin.

Morning vitamin E quick massage in.
Kegels 14s holds x 10 reps x 3 sets. 3-5s relax between reps, 1 min between sets.

Night
Warmup: heatpad. Bundled stretches using theraband yellow wrapped somewhat tight and oxball pulling skin down. Squeezed blood out consistently. Found that 1 turn was kind of difficult. Did 1 turn for first 4, 1 min hold. Then did 1.5 turns 1 min hold for 4 more. Light jelqs

Mityvac air 2.125x12” cylinder with 3600rpm vibration motor speed adjustable.

I had motor at like 40% which was pretty intense. Expansion was pretty good. I was about at 9 inches with lowish pressures. The vibration is very effective. I am a bit concerned about the vibration at base against pubic area. I am not sure, if I was going at higher pressures and getting up to the 60% speed, if it would be too intense. I did feel like I got fatigued after the 2nd pump. If the vibrations are causing more fatigue, that makes sense right?

There is discoloration obviously but not worse than before. No edema. I’m not sure if I want to try pumping every other day? I want to see how this works before going 1 month break. I’ll stay 7Hg and below. 2-3x 5min pumps.

Gonna put some vitamin E on before bed. No time for redlight. I did do some heatpad right after. I don't want to do cockring right now.

Kegels 1 set 14s hold, 5sec relax x 10 reps. 2 sets each of 2sec hold of front and back pelvic floor and 4 sec release alternate with 50% effort hold front/back 30s hold.
Stretching: did full stretching for about 5mins. Hips, pelvis, back, legs

Mini session: edging with hand-clamping then hand-clamp with compression holds 15s tops. Rather than pushing into glans with palm, I am cupping hand all the way around to spread the pressure. I really don’t like doing o-ring compressions. And I don’t like moving the base hand.

Max expansion was 9 3/8" I think. Motor is super effective and much more efficient. No edema. Discoloration still. Mitysleeve ripped on my first session with it. Yikes. Yes, I was using coconut oil, which probably didn’t help.

I might wait 3 days to pump again, monitoring color. Though, I have visitors from Fri to Fri which might make another week off be a better idea. I just have a feeling I’m gonna need a full month to get back to where discoloration is gone and doesn’t come back so easily.

Nope. In PE, it's a positive thing. When a tool, device, or routine that does a number on the penis, balls, or surround muscles ligaments, that is a great thing. Same as working with weight. If the weight are doing a number on you, that means the weight is acting with extreme intensity to work your body up to an optimal degree.

Crazy thing is I haven't even turned it up to 2400rpm. It has 11 markings from min to max of 3800rpm. So 7th marking is roughly 2400rpm and I've only put it up to 4th marking because it's so intense. I need to build up my tolerance otherwise its gonna make me nut lol. Also, I was using the mitysleeve in my last session because it helps with the vibration and pubic base. Without a significant fatpad, I am not sure that vibration is good against nerves there. If I do go higher, it won't be for the entire 5mins, I'll wait until the last minute to jack it up.

Kegels: 3x 2s front/back, 4s release alternate with 50% effort front/back 30s hold
Full stretching routine (edit: clarifying that I am talking about muscle stretching, related to pelvic floor)

Mini-session:
6 bundled stretches. Still trying to limit the stretching of the skin around the base.. Washed my junk to remove oils then put on oxball to pull skin down. Then wrapped green theraband around shaft and then a leluv silicone sleeve down to the base. Squeeze blood out each time. Using base hand to keep that silicone sleeve anchored. First twist holding middle then 2nd just below glans. 30s hold just twisting then 30s of pulling hands apart.

Then I was edging while doing hand-clamps with and without cockring on. 3 sets of 15s compression holds cupping around glans each side. Put cockring on then repeat with hand-clamp just above cockring. Edging without cockring on with vibrator. Then put cockring on and jump in shower. Finish up with FG rolling my vitamin E oil on.

Bruise cream with vitamin K, C, E and arnica to arrive on Saturday. Maybe it will be effective, maybe not. It should be valuable generally for the future.

Mini-session: edging with hand-clamping and cockring. 15s compressions (cupped around head) while hand-clamping. X3 each side. Then put on cockring and repeat. Head is looking more swollen lately in a good way. Using vibrator to edge. Did reach orgasm. Put cockring back on after.

Night mini-session: same. More hand-clamp with and without cockring and compressions. No vibrator. Being quiet…

No kegels other than during sessions

Morning: mini-session hand-clamping and compressions. Vitamin E

Full body stretches

Afternoon: another session of hand-clamp, cockring, compressions. But first washed oils off with soap and water and put on oxball. Then alternated 10 gua sha scrapes with moderate pressure each side and FG rolls for about 1 min until I did 50 gua shas scrapes each side. Building a sort of routine.. Start with no cockring, just hand-clamp for 30s then alternate sides a couple times. Then put on cockring and hand-clamp alternate sides. Then cockring off, maintain hand-clamp through 3 sets of 15s compression holds with 5-10s off, then alternate sides twice. Then cockring ON, maintain hand-clamp through 3 sets of 15s compression holds. Light massage or jelq or FG roll between alternations. Some edging with vibrator with and without cockring on. Left cockring on for 10 mins after stopping manuals. Applied vitamin E after shower.

Night: mini-session – basic hand-clamp routine but less repetitions. EQ wasn’t as great because distractions.

Used bruise cream first time (arnica, vit K, vit C)

Soft/hand-clamping session (oxball on): CR=cockring, HC=hand-clamp. Progression: 2x HC, no CR 30s holds alternate sides --> repeat with CR x2 --> 2x HC, no CR 30s hold and maintain then 15s compression x 3, DLD bends x 10 and upward bend x 10, alternate sides --> repeat with CR x 2 --> HC, no CR 30s hold then slide grip ~½ inch and hold 30s and maintain and 60 compression pulses, DLD bend x10, upward bend x 10, alternate sides --> repeat with CR.

I realized I needed to add in the DLD bends since I could tell that the compressions were giving a lot of depth. And upward bend to make sure I am not making myself bend down more.

Honestly, I think these work. When I get back to pumping, I won’t do the full progression but I’ll do some hand-clamps with compressions for 5-10 mins.

Bruise cream again

I’ve been keeping heat fairly light lately. I think I was overdoing the heat.

Night: 2 mins of pelvic floor ‘release’. 5-10mins of stretches
Another soft/hand-clamp session. Excellent EQ and ballooning.

Bruise cream in morning

8 bundled stretches. Wash oil off, oxball on tight. Keep tight after each stretch. Using green theraband wrapped around with leluv silicone sleeve (no flange) at base as anchor. First 4 bundles just twist 1 turn hold 1 minute. Next 4, 1 twist, 30s then intensify with pull for 30s. Squeezing blood out each time and reseting band and oxball.

Using vitamin E and bruise cream and taking break from pumping. Depends if I see signs it is improving. The darker area hasn't really changed. I haven't had the red dots for a bit at least. The discoloration is Hemosiderin staining pretty sure.

Just out of curiosity, which bruising cream are you using? The ingredients may already contain vitamin E, but they may also contain ingredients that counter vitamin E.
 
SKINTENSIVE Arnica Bruise Cream for Thin Skin - Moisturizing, Vitamin K C and E, Skin Renewal, 4 Oz

I'm either using just vitamin E or that cream. 3 times total. At waking up, after shower, and before bed. I can't be positive of the benefits at this point.. Vitamin E oil is 5000IU.
 
Worst comes to worst, Musely FaceRX is one of those prescriptions that kicks the darken skin at the highest level. There are over the counter cream like what you're using. After around 2 months, if you don't see any change, switch to different formulation. There are way too many to account for. There is no one cream fits all.

Soft/hand-clamp session: not really strict progression. I did both with and without CR. Messing around edging/ballooning. Doing this thing where I am hand-clamping and kind of tugging on head from behind glans and then some compressions against clamp. Also doing this thing where I am loosening the clamp against the pressure just slightly until grip is very loose then letting go as I kegel all the blood back in and reclamp.
