This past semester I was smoking chronic-grade cannabis a few times a week. An eighth of it will last me for months, takes very little to get high and I don't smoke everyday.
Now I am cutting down smoking. When you start making a religion out of "vices" it really starts to hurt your spiritual energy, as now after not smoking for almost two weeks I feel great bliss all the time again, whereas I had a much harder time attuning when I was smoking a few times a week. Nowadays I just will smoke whenever I truly feel it, not just "because." I haven't felt any want to smoke in a while, even at parties or around others that are high, whereas I'd always smoke at parties and when other people were smoking.
As far as cigars, I'll smoke a fine Macanudo or a real Cuban every now and then, but I rarely ever smoke them. It's nice just to sit and talk with someone for an hour over a smooth, rich cigar. I'll smoke a hookah about as much as I smoke a cigar, which is rarely.
I personally don't see how anyone can smoke cigarettes as it's all a bunch of poison and filth. It's not even close to pure tobacco and they're just freebasing the nicotine, which makes it much more addictive.
If you have to smoke, I'd say just stick with the herb. The most important thing is to not abuse anything, though.
Always keep your body in mind. Don't disrespect yourself.
