sponge,
>Bib, I am still hanging BTC and in the last month I saw some more gains. It looks like my LOT has stayed at between 7 and 8. The biggest thing I have noticed is I don't feel very much, if any, fatique in my ligs anymore but more in the tunica. It used to be that the next day I would feel sore in the ligs and now it's the shaft. Is this a sign that I may be at the end of my lig stretch and the tunica is taking more of the stresses? Do you think I should still ride this out till I see gains stop before moving to upper angles? I just don't feel any lig stretch anymore and if the tunica is taking the stresses then would OTS hanging work better or do I need to see a 6:00 LOT first?<
True words: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". If you are getting gains, that trumps everything else, LOT, what you feel, whatever. Continue with the lower angles until gains stop. Or in the event you reach total fatigue BTC, you can switch to SO as a secondary angle.
One thing you may be feeling is the ligament fascia on the shaft being stressed. This may seem like tunica fatigue, but it is actuall ligament fatigue. Can you tell if the ligs are tight when hanging at the lower angles? If so, they are taking the stress.
Another thing: If your LOT is still 7-8, it shows you still have a bit of lig potential. Just let it ride. You want to continue to hit those ligs while they are in a weakened, fatigued state. When you stop the lig work, to move to the upper angles, the ligs will strengthen for a while, as a result of past stresses. When you move to the upper angles, you want the ligs to have enough time to re-weaken, atrophy, so that your next series of lower angle work will be easier. Sabe?
>One other thing I have noticed is my BPFSL has increased 1/4" in the past month. Does this relate to more gains to come?<
Probably. My stretched flaccid always led the erect measures to gains.
Good stuff, and congratulations.
