Cold hands.

This is only a suggestion, but it should work: Try to avoid smoking, alcohol, drugs, meat, and caffine. Try to get more grains, green leafy vegetables, and legumes. Also make sure you get plenty of vitamin C (in fruits, vegetables, or suppliments), which increases iron bio-availability. Natural sources are always better than suppliments though. This should increase red blood cell count and circulation from many angles. If it's too difficult to follow all of it you can try following it more loosely, whatever works best for you. :)

DAMN! That is awesome. I have had this problem my whole life. My hands are frickin freezing cold in the summer my feet are frigid even after like working out. My hands are warm when I work out but never my feet. I'm going to try this out. I've been drinking green tea lately like the last 2 weeks but I haven't noticed anything yet. Not sure if this will help, but hey I like tea.

What I meant is, it sounds like you have at least a slight case of anemia, which is more common in those who eat meat (it's about a 100:2 ratio for those who do and don't). Anemia just means 'lack of blood', and is most often caused by lack of iron, but can also be caused by lack of b12 or folic acid. It's more often due to not absorbing the nutrients than not taking them in. The best advice would be to take vitamin C in the same meal that you eat vegetable based iron to increase the absorption. Those who eat meat often don't get enough vitamin C, which may be part of why they become anemic more often. I'm not turning this into a debate about the health of meat eaters and non, not interested in that, just saying that it could be due to a lack of vitamin C during meals, which helps the iron to be properly absorbed, and is often lacking in a meat based diet.

Edit: Iron supplements should only be taken at the directions of a doctor, it is best to take it from natural (i.e. vegetable, legume, grain, nut) sources.

My hands and feet are really cold to the touch, I guess due to poor circulation. What can I do?

First of all how old are you? If you are over 50, then you need to increase your circulation. You can do this by going a gym three days a week, for an hour at a time. gradually work slowly and go up to 1,1/2 hours a week. If you are over weight get some professional help on how to work out to loose the weight.

Go swimming three day's a week. If you smoke, quit, Drink in moderation, say 1 ounce of hard stuff a night, Cut out the beer. If you feel cold have a hot bath, wear thick socks in bed. If the cold problems continue, go see the Quack man, If you under 40, then proceed with above but spend more time going to the gym.

Hope this helps.
