Brawn Johnson's Routine and Progress

TROUBLESHOOTING UPDATE:

Today I tried pulling the disc back halfway into the bell before inserting my penis, and that seems to have entirely fixed the problem I found yesterday. Maybe that allowed my glans to fill the bell better or something?? I'm not sure, but today I was able to apply a decent amount of tension without the penis coming out at all AND I didn't have to use ACE wrap around it.

Excelsior!

Update and Today's Results:

HOLY YIKES, GUYS. A lot to report today... So now that I've got the SiliStretcher working properly and forming a good seal, I used my luggage scale to estimate the tension I applied at ~5lbs. (I wrapped the end of the SiliStretcher around the luggage scale hook and pulled on the scale until it hit 5lbs, then attached the SS to my belt at that position, as pictured below).

It turns out this ADS/low-intensity/long-time stretching game is a COMPLETELY different beast from the short, intense manual sessions I've been doing. I figured 5 lbs was nothing at all since I use 20lb for manual stretches, but 1 hour into this my dick was on FIRE. Felt like it was going to get ripped off! I've never felt this sensation during stretching before. I originally planned to go 2.5 hours but I had to back off and stop at 2 hours, and maybe I should have stopped even earlier. I'm not sure what to make of this sensation... it was VERY uncomfortable but I don't know if it's a good or a bad pain.

When I took the SiliStretcher off, 1) my skin underneath the SiliSleeve/cap was red and raw, 2) there was a black bruise on my shaft, and 3) my glans was slightly elongated and deformed. I applied some moisturizer, hit everything with a hair dryer for about 10min as a warm-down, and massaged the bruise.

Plan Moving Forward:

I'm going to adjust my plans a little bit, and I'm not sure if I should reduce tension, time, or both. Right now I'm thinking of keeping ~5lb tension, and only adding a half hour each week instead of every day. (No WAY I'll be able to stick with that schedule!)

Finally, I forgot that I'm supposed to do a pre-exhaust before applying the ADS, so after I do my daily Squeezes I'll be adding in 10 tension stretches just before applying the SiliStretcher.

Questions:

Should I be feeling a burning sensation on this or does that indeed mean I've gone too far?

If it's too much, should I be immediately dialing back the tension or the time?

What's a good time/tension to start with, and what's a good schedule to use for increasing both?

I'm feeling the power of this new device, now to make sure I use that power to grow rather than destroy my dick! :)

On your questions there are two new routines in the SRT thread which are based on progressive hanging. There’s two different ones one shorter than the other, take a look at them and let me know what you think or if you have any questions.

Are you referring to the reverse and triangle pyramid ideas?

EQ was down just a touch on my morning wood this AM, so I think yesterday's pain was indeed a bit too much. Today I'm just going to do EQ work and take a rest day.

Tomorrow and Friday I'll try for 3 hrs at just 2lbs and see how that goes. If it's looking good, I'll start with a progression based on Big Al's recommendations on Monday.

Yesterday was a hiccup, but I'm pretty damn excited about this new phase. This is the first time since I first began that I've really felt a stretch at all in my shaft! Let's make some GAINS!!

Thanks to everyone reading this!

I'm on the phone and don't have the precise links, however, if you check the size genetic section, I wrote a thread that is active, describing a routine.

That routine has times for those starting.
Use those times with SS.

Mos should really have these more clear for customers on the shop side, so they have an accurate knowledge of times when starting.

Found it, thanks Red!

@Brawn Johnson do you have the new transparent DuroSleevs? I see you are using the older SIliSleevs in the picture above.
Hey Lightning, I recently realized you guys were sending complimentary SS2.0 upgrades to owners of the original, and placed my order. (THANK YOU!) So I'll have the durosleeves in my clammy mitts soon. :)

Even without those, though, I've got the SS working pretty well now. I overlooked your advice to pull the disc halfway back into the bell before applying it, and that made a big difference.

My three hours in the SS went just fine yesterday, using around 2 lbs of force. I felt a slight stretch, but I wasn't squirming in my seat watching the clock and telling my dick to "just hang in there, buddy, only 1 more hour to go!" I could go for a bit more stretch sensation, actually, but I'm going to be patient and build things up right. ?

Cool! The new SiliStretcher2 piston is preset at the 50% mark and the new model is stealthier and beefier than the previous version.

The new SiliPad2 is a big improvement over the previous silipad as well and has been helping many preventing fluid retention.

The DuroSleevs with take your stretching to the next level.

Just checking in to say that the SiliStretcher 2.0 arrived and it's significantly more powerful than the 1.0. I don't know how or why, maybe it's the Silipad? But however it happened, this thing has one hell of a grip. I haven't even bothered with the durosleeves, this thing isn't going anywhere. :)

I'm getting antsy at 2lb, not really feeling a stretch sensation anymore at all. The SiliScale should arrive soon, (THANK YOU, MoS!), and then I'll be able to confirm whether or not the belt is slipping and losing tension over the hours. Right now with my scale I can only measure before I attach the bell to the belt... We'll shed more light on this soon enough!

If I'm not slipping, I might try 3 or 4 lbs ahead of schedule and see if I can't find a sweet spot.

You are so welcome and thank you for the review, I’m so happy that you’re happy.

Quick Update: I bumped the starting tension up to 3lbs today and felt a perfectly manageable stretch sensation. I'll keep it there until my next scheduled tension increase.

Also, the SiliScale arrived! Starting tomorrow I'll measure tension with that instead of my luggage scale, so I'll have more accurate data and I'll be able to check on the tension over the entire time I'm stretching. Better and better!

So happy the scale came in and I can’t wait to hear your review on it.

Here you are, sir!

The SiliScale is *perfect* for the SiliStretcher, and it's taken all of the guesswork out of my ADS training! With just a minute or so of playing around with it, I've figured out how to measure in kilograms or pounds of tension and exactly how to use it. It's pretty simple:

1) Attach the scale between the SS bell and the velcro attachment strap
2) Turn on the scale and wait for it to stop flashing.
3) Attach the velcro strap to the belt wherever, and wait for the scale to stop on a number.
4) Re-attach if needed and hit the power button again to get a new reading.

Before, I was using a luggage scale to estimate tension when I applied the ADS. The luggage scale worked well when I was doing 15-20lbs of tension for Lengthmaster stretches, but it's not nearly accurate enough at the lower range of tension used for ADS, or given the fact that I had to first pull on the scale and then get rid of it before attaching the velcro and rely on the "feel" of the stretch. (Also very hard to do when you're working with just a few pounds!)

Absolute gamechanger. Five stars!

Okay, important question about the scale...

After a couple hours I turned the scale on again to check if the tension had stayed the same. After a 10 count or so the scale started to take a new measurement... and had me under 1lb of tension. I didn't think it likely that I had lost that much tension, so I re-attached at 2.96 lb, turned the scale off, and measured again right away. Again the scale measured a fraction of a pound.

So it looks like the scale automatically tares whatever tension is being applied to it when it turns on. That is, if it's under 3 lbs of tension when I turn it on, it actually reads "0.0" until I take a step and my hip bone presses on it and lengthens the chain. Then it reads "0.14" or whatever because that's how much tension my hip bone added. Is that right?
