Hey man from what I have gathered from the board hanging is an excellent way to gain base girth, I haven’t started hanging yet, but I do have somewhat of a baseball bat shape so I feel yeah.
I would search around for key words like "Base girth" or "Baseball bat effect" see what else you can come up with.
