im desperate to lose 21lb .... my intake of calories is between 1500 and 1700 per day ...i exercise everyday (aerobic)mainly walking and i aslo spend 30 minutes on my gravity walker....i seem to lose weight quite easily while following this but like most people i enjoy going out and having a few beers,but the weight seems to go on so easily when hitting the beer,and i know about the fact that alcohol is burnt as energy before fat cells...the fact is is there anyway i can lose weight and drink beer... i really dont want to give up my social life and i cant goto the pub and not drink, also i dont like spirits or wine...any help really appreciated,i just want to know if i can maintain weight loss and still enjoy a few jars...i used to go drinking and not eat thinking it would be fewer calories but i now know that all i was doing was putting my body into starvation mode....damn if only they made non fattening beer ... i dont drink at home so i cant drink the low carb stuff so i stick to fosters if i am going to drink,sorry for the ramble but its so tough losing weight and maintainning a social life
