How to make a REMOVEABLE SO Hanging Device under a PC desk?

I want to make a hanging device under my PC desk to hang SO (Straight Our) this is because my parents are a pain in the arse and would question what the hell its for! Because of this it needs to be removeable and no familiar to the eye! (hidden)

But i cant really see the bit under the desk, can anyone help me or provide links and pictures would be great so i can achieve this! This is something ive always wanted to setup so its their for when i need it. I want to set it up now while ive got the time else ill never do it!

I accomplished what you are looking for by screwing in an eye hook under the desk. Basically what you might screw into the ceiling to hang potted plants and just run the hanging line through it and then off to surf the net. I have held up to 15lbs with mine and even though it isn't as nice as a pulley system it is almost undetectable.

Get a simple bolt-style lock, screw it on to your door, and hey presto! Then you'll have time to hide your setup!

I bought an eye hook and screwed it under my desk. I used another screw to start the hole and then I put a screw driver through the eye of the eye hook and screwed it in. Then I bought a clip like you see on key chains and what rock climbers used and attached a small pulley to that and connected it to the eye hook. Basically all you have to do is remove the pulley and clip when your done. People don't look underneath your desk that much...and if your really paranoid you could keep the pulley on and use the pulley to unscrew the eye hook and screw it back in whenever you hang. I think it cost me about $5 at Home Depot.

Also it might sound like it'll hang to the floor but I bought a small eyehook but big enough to fit the small clip on and then a pulley that can hold I think 30 lbs but it might be more.

Oh and I bought some Orange string at walmart that works pretty good but you could also use fishing line. Anything that won't get caught in the pulley and reduces friction is the best.

I use a small door hing which i fasten to the bottom side of the desk.

When hanging, I lower the part of the hing not attached to the desk and place a s-hook into one of the holes. I had to twist the hook 90 degress.

I attach a pulley to the s-hock and us 1/16 aircraft cable to attach my bib hanger to the weight plates.

When I am not hanging, I remove the s-hook and pulley and use Velcro to hold the hing up and out of the way.

So you screw an eye hook into the table underneath then attach the pulley to the eyehook? I can deal with a hook or some sort in the table that aint that bad. Any pics would be great and thanks for the reply, good ideas!

When you say use fishing wire or orange string, would not wire u see at the gym on the weight machines for the pulley be ok? Like the pulley systems for gym equipment?

Im just unsure of what to do now tho, as ive come back from a long decon break and i dont no if hanging is too much or extreme to begin with? Fishing line is cheap cheap cheap and it is knotable unlike the wire from pulley machines. Also you don't have any problems cutting and throwing some away if needed, such as some for SO others for SD OTS and so on.
