Why was I banned?

I made a new account because I hated this name and I made a thread about selling my Bathmate and I was banned? I've been a loyal member for years...

I guess DLD and the mods were just protective, cause there might have been people that would "sell"a Bathmate. Some of the mods should naswer you.

I am most probably the guy who banned your new name. if it happened within the last few days (sometimes I don't remember details if the accounts are not too remarkable) it's because a brand new account, linked directly to a sales ad sets off all kinds of alarms.

We've been dealing with assloads of SPAM lately and some of the Mods, me included, have had malicious code hacked into our signatures.
If you want your name changed PM DLD and ask for him or an administrator to change it to whatever you'd prefer.

Next time you'd like to sell something; 1) let MOS know in advance, and 2) don't open a brand new account to do so...that just SCREAMS-SPAM.

Sorry about canning your new name. PM me and I'll see about reinstating it. And when you advertise, just mention this username, people are more apt to trust an established member than a "newbie".
