Why are there slow responses?

I just wondered why this forum isn't as fast moving as �other forum� is. There are lots of members so why do posts take so long to get answered? I am not complaining, I am just wondering.

Some people here really don't know the answers...they might read the post but not be able to answer them..Id rather keep my mouth shut than babble on about something I know nothing about. Don't worry, you will get answers to any question in reasonable time.

I've noticed MOS for whatever reason has slowed down considerably lately. A lot of the old guard if you will seems to be doing other things, while an influx of new people come in. I assume once everyones more experienced things will pick up again.
