I didn't find any other threads similar to this so i am making a new one, if thats okay. Never mind, for the last couple of weeks I've done PE consistently and with very high intensity. I've made some REALLY good gains(which i will post in my progress thread later). The problem is that my penis now has alot of bruises and red marks, it looks kind of beaten up. Sometimes the skin at the base of the penis even hurts a little when i take my clothes off. I think this is because the high intensity I have in my exercises and it seems to get worse over time. Currently I am doing the beginner phase of MoS DVD.
Do you guys think I should crank down the intensity or keep it at same? For both health and gain perspective?

A lot of guys get bruising and red marks in the beginning of their training but this usually goes away quickly. Things that help are warming up and down, this especially helps with bruising. Deep tissue massage is also a good way to avoid and lessen pre-existing bruising and red marks. I would not go down in intensity or strength, if you are making gains stick with it, your skin will clear up eventually.

Okay thanks. Got worried there for a moment

I have permanent spots from clamping. Definitely something I regret.

That is the biggest problem with clamping, the damage that can be done to the skin. I have seen guys end up with a dark purple penis after clamping for some time. I personally believe the only place for clamping is in healing at a very light intensity.

I did extreme clamping like Red did back in the day. Yes, the temp gains were awesome, but since I never was consistent, it only left me with permanent spots to show for it. I tell girls who ask what the spot is that it was a bruise from rough sex that never went away lol.

This is the reason I have never done this...I take pride in a clear skinned penis:)

As long as the routine is working, you shouldn't reduce the intensity. What I will suggest is that, you should get yourself the MOSRED from the MOS shop. It helps with bruises and discoloration.

@leo, yes please tell us if you are on the RED +NIR pad, that helps us know if you are healing after going HAM. Also, have you tried coconut oil if you are jelqing in this routine? I have gone HAM a few times but never have had an issue with coconut oil and with RED + NIR pad.

A RED/NIR pad will never be as powerful as a dedicated RED/NIR light as the MOS RED.
You need the correct wavelengths and with high enough intensity to make it work.

Well, that's partially true. The pads, like spa chambers, are close proximity lights designed for low radiance for longer exposure time, but it requires to be within 0 to 1 inch away. These are the pad/table type. I also have three. The radiance level is around 30 to 50 mW/cm2. They are limited on the wavelengths though. They are focused between 640nm to 680nm. Newer ones pushed to 980nm. Truth be told, it's about the total dosage you are getting, and the capacity the lights can deliver consistently, be the pads, tables, or panels. Just make sure the light spectrums cover from the low 600nm to the high 900nm.
