Has anyone ever noticed a loss of sensitivity from pumping or jelqing a lot?
mine just seems less sensitive the last few months as I’ve picked up more pumping. Some of it also may be some medication but thought I would ask.

The penis does become less sensitive with exercise but this is good for lasting longer in bed

Right now I can’t even accomplish a hand job lol. It’s like I used to do when I was on Zoloft. Takes forever. Not complaining necessarily, but it would like to finish jerking off occasionally.

I have been using bathmate for 5 months, and finally seeing some progress in thickness. A week ago I noticed loss of sensitivity. No tingling but does feel numb on the surface of the shaft. I read it might be nerve damage. Is this permanent?? Any feedback would be great since I’m freaking out

The numbness that you feel, or even the glans sensitivity, is due to the constant expansion and growth you're subjecting the penis to go through. Do recall how much aches, pains, and numbness you suffer during your adolescent years. I still do even though it was decades ago.

The sensitivity, or lack there off, will ease up once you slow down with the girth and length work and switch to maintenance. Your nerves will be fully adapted and grown into the proper length and sizes. This goes for the blood vessels. Do compare between the glans vs the shaft sensitivity. Glans gets more sensitive because of the constant expansion after the tip, where most of the nerve bundle terminal points are. The shaft comprise the nerve bodies and blood vessels, and the elongation of the nerves tend to dull the sensation more than the nerve endings.

But for us guys that tend to ejaculate early, a bit of dullness helps with longer love sessions. However, be warned that this won't last since all sensitivity will return once you stop or reduce the amount of PE routine. Larger penis means tighter vaginal contraction. It may be even worse since you will be in heaven and untimely early load releases.

I have a love/ hate relationship with this in my short PE life. For the first 6 months, I swear I was losing sensitivity with just jelqing. Then I went to manual stretches and water pumping, and I am feeling all sorts of good sensitivity on the D. I will report back but there is no good or bad news on this front, when it's too sensitive, I fucking love the feeling, and when it is not too sensitive bang the night away. I will report back but go with the flow and trust the process.

Everybody's different but eventually p e will always bring more sensitivity than less

I started vacuum hanging this week and am a little concerned as my erections are much softer and I seem to have lost some sensitivity in the frenulum/inner foreskin area. I was hanging roughly 3 pounds for only 15 min sets. I remember the same thing happened a few years ago when I started using the bathmate which ultimately made me quit. It all came back to normal but put me off. I really want to continue with hanging but I have to admit I'm a little concerned I might do something permanent. Are softer erections / some sensitivity loss normal with hanging when you are just starting out or am I doing something wrong?

Very common when you start out too hard and too fast. When you first start out, try to go easy. 3 lbs for X sets of 15 minutes may have overburdened your glans before your penis can adjust. Commonly, you start at 1.5 lbs to test the penile capacity to handle. Those who have done the manual stretches before already conditioned to some degree. 3 lbs also exceeded the recommended long period stretching/extender tension right off the bat. Always condition before going crazy. Same with the Bathmate or pump. The starting point is 4 to 5 inHg of pressure. I'm assuming you went crazy and entered into the 7 to 9 inHg zone before conditioning. To be honest, I've done the stupid thing myself.

What happened is your nerves and blood vessels went to hard on the stretches. I happened to me even now if I go too hard on both stretches and pumping in the same day. Your dorsal nerves got shocked from the high tension stretches, and your blood vessels got over burdened from the stretches and expansion. It takes a day to 4 to complete reset. But, the good news is, you know your baseline limit not to exceed if you want to perform hanging. Restart at 1.5 lbs for hanging, but perform more sets until your penis adapts for the next 2 weeks. Then push to 2 lbs for 2 more weeks, then 2.5 lbs. Slow and steady.

Same for pumping while doing hanging. Drop back down to 50% vac pressure (3 to 5 pumps) until the gaiter baffles is half compressed. Do that for a week, then increase to 3/4 compression for 3 weeks. When your penis is ready, go higher. My suggestion is to mod your pump with a gauge. It doesn't cost much, and your safety must be at the forefront of your PE.

Thanks heaps for taking the time to reply, I like the sound of your advice. I thought 3 pounds would be ok as I actually felt ok the whole time while hanging but clearly its a bit much at the moment. It's certainly a bit of a wake up when I can no longer feel what I used to after only a couple of days of hanging and erections being a bit "mushy" but ill take a few days and go lighter. Cheers

For me there’s a fine line between just right and too much and you’re right on the line IMO. Reduce weight a touch and keep going.
For me what you described is a good workout.
