Understand your concern, Talcum (Baby) Powder is related to cervical cancer from a prolonged use in the genital (vulva) area. The talc travels up into the ovaries, gets trapped and causes inflammation and eventually creates cancer cells. For years, I heard of women using talcum powder on their genitals to stay dry during the summer months. The one thing I never understood is why, its dangerous. That is one of several places how your body's system get infiltrated, through the mucous membranes. Any orifice such as your eyes, nose, mouth, anus, that's why they make Baby Lotion Powder (Dust Free) so the babies don't breath it in to their lungs. Also, you shouldn't rub your nose/mouth with your hands during "cold-season" or really anytime without washing them first.
Unless you're packing your urethra with baby powder you shouldn't have an issue...
...it's better to be safe than sorry.
