The equivalent safe powder is cornstarch powder. Same section

Understand your concern, Talcum (Baby) Powder is related to cervical cancer from a prolonged use in the genital (vulva) area. The talc travels up into the ovaries, gets trapped and causes inflammation and eventually creates cancer cells. For years, I heard of women using talcum powder on their genitals to stay dry during the summer months. The one thing I never understood is why, its dangerous. That is one of several places how your body's system get infiltrated, through the mucous membranes. Any orifice such as your eyes, nose, mouth, anus, that's why they make Baby Lotion Powder (Dust Free) so the babies don't breath it in to their lungs. Also, you shouldn't rub your nose/mouth with your hands during "cold-season" or really anytime without washing them first.

Unless you're packing your urethra with baby powder you shouldn't have an issue...
...it's better to be safe than sorry.

Wait, I have a sex toy and I put baby powder inside it after every use. Is that safe? I wash it before I use it...

I'm not sure why you use baby powder after using it. Sounds safe, if you're washing it thoroughly before every use.

Actually this is a smart move and one I will start using. My FleshLight really ends up stinking, even though I completely clean it art still ends up smelling. I am thinking the baby powder would absorb the dampness and keep it from smelling. I will try this tonight and get back to you. I really hope it works because the smell can be pretty off-putting.

we need to find safer products though, now that it is mandatory to state that the ingredients can provoke cancer it's still worrisome for some.
