I was watching "I'm a celebratey get me out of here" last night and a question was asked in order for them to get a treat. It was "how many sexual partners does the average male have in his lifetime"? The answer .... 14

Anyways this got me thinking ... is that really true??? Now, I've led a sheltered life it seems as I have only had three, two ONS and my wife, but I suppose if you called fondling or heavy petting sexual encounters then my number goes up to about 6. Full intercourse though ... still only 3 ?:( So there must be some very promiscuous men out there or their figures are wrong.

I'd like to know what all you guys think? Take away the bullshit and ego's and be honest. What's your number?

to be honest i thought it would be more than 14. im 22 and ive slept with 25 women. its completely a personal thing, some men are happy with one women, others enjoy having sex with many. i think that average number will increase in the future due to better communication tools (internet, phones, dating agencies, swinging, dogging etc etc). i know loads of guys who have slept with ALOT more than i have...
 
Could be true. In my day (I'm not old but I am 41) There was no internet and few clasified ads for casual relations. The only way to meet girls was clubs, pubs and maybe some magazine related dating sites like dateline. As a country boy, the few girls available were few and far between. i'd have loved the opportunities that the internet has opened up for finding women!

I don't think there is one. From what I've read, if you've been pretty sexually active, you pretty much have the HPV virus, as it's so common and condoms do little to prevent it. Fortunately, there isn't much to worry about for men.
 
In the few years that we've been swinging... we get tested at least once a month and we've never gotten HPV (knock on wood). We know that the odds are against us and we will very likely get it eventually. Since we are tested so often, if we do contract HPV it should be diagnosed and treated rather quickly. Although condoms are believed to do little to prevent it... the National Institute of Health's report on condom effectiveness does state:

“results did suggest that condom use might afford some protection in reducing the risk of HPV-associated diseases, including warts in men and cervical neoplasia in women”

We religiously use condoms and make no exceptions for anyone. Maybe that is what has kept us from getting it. Who knows....

It's possible that I might carry the HPV virus, though I would think that is the only thing I could realistically have. When you say you get tested, what all do you get tested for and what does this involve? I've heard horror stories about metal probes being pushed down the urethra for some STD tests and I think I'd rather just suffer my last days and die.
 
We get urine and blood test as that typically catches most STD's. My wife also gets tested for HPV which consists of a vaginal swab. I don't get tested for HPV as often as she does... when i do, my doc takes an anal swab cuz i didn't want to do a urethal swab.

Didn't even know anal swabs were an option. I'd have 10 of them before I'd have something jammed down my urethra.
 
The wife and I are swingers.. We have never had an STD so I don't know where that part of the selection came from. LOL

I would have to guess I'm close to 50 partners or more. I never really counted them. LOL Would be closer to 75 if I did not get ill 2 years ago and get way out of shape. But don't worry I'm better now and the weight is dropping fast so by next summer we will be back at it.

Well actually much to my surprise, their figures seem to be looking fairly accurate. Considering this poll seems to be showing that a lot of us don't actually have many partners, but those that do have many ... really do have MANY LMAO I reckon they might not be far off.

The modern generation averages far more than that, i myself in only around six months and looking fairly average, have nailed over 10.
 
I've had well over 25 ... dont know the EXACT figure but I would guess around 50 with ease if not more ... lost it at 13 and couldnt stop.
