I think it was this guy who we keep banning from Bathmate products who has flooded the forums recently. My inkling came because the day before the flood I banned the same prick again for posting another thread about fake Bathmates. IPs from the UK but if he flooded they will be proxy's no doubt and offshore. Just my 2 cents or some wacko from the past who wants cybersex?

Could be true, we are looking deeply into this and we will get to the bottom of it. Thing that sucks is if the attacks continue we will need to purchase a hardware firewall, maybe SizeGenetics and Bathmate will kick in to help pay for it. It will make traffic so much better and keep these assholes from fucking with MOS's paper.
 
Is this along the lines of one o' those "Denial of Service" attacks that y'hear about in the news all the time?
 
Sounds like a DOS attack, where they use tools or infected 'zombie' machines to hit the site with connections very fast in quick succession (Pinging) and this slows it down with eventual crashing.
 
So have you signed up to the site? (No) how about the hardware firewall? Honestly Mike I was surprised to see no Easter sales on MOS which would bring in more purchases at your end.
 
You got it Red, something about Zombies and over flood of traffic. Sales on Easter were actually decent in comparison to the weeks previous. Just got to sort all these little bugs out and I think we will be ready to do some modifications on teh forum.
 
well knowing Andy (the tech guy) he hacked into several high key competitors and stole informations :/ I would not put this as any less likly
 
I think thats the guy who attacked MOS. I banned another of his accounts the day before the site went down. So has any legal action been taken against this twat from his other handy work? or do you all sit and wait? The UK laws are very strict on this type of thing. Whats his details? post his full name, address if you know it and I'll makesure he suffers.
 
Do what you can. I'll post his details somewhere with what he is and Google will spider it and when searched in Google - His name - it will reveal the stuff about him.
