Glans pain using Silistretcher

Bleh! I'm jinxing myself left and right in this thread! Yesterday I was back to the usual amounts of fluid retention again... so there must be something else at work as well...

Typically I create a pretty good vacuum just by putting the bell and sleeve on, so today I'll try stretching without turning the piston knob at all and see what that does. If I'm still getting retention I'll try the tape, too. We'll get this figured one way or another!

Pe bob brought something to my attention. He was hanging 7 kg with hanger and thought he could jump into that weight with silistretcher but the period of conditioning must happen. Some fluid buildup from time to time can be expected you just want 90% of it to be gone within 10 minutes. Go low and slow, start off with low weights (2 to 3 pounds) and slowly increase time (starting at 20 to 30 minutes and add 5 minutes per set every other day for instance up to 60 min. Once you can hang that weight slowly increase weight by 1-2 pounds and drop time to 20 to 30 minutes and repeat. If you notice drastic fluids buildup reduce stress or improve taping technique.

I am going to try using the microfoam tape and start at a low weight, lets see if the conditioning improves, I really love the suction and stretch I get from the silistretcher, just hope I can condition properly so I can start hanging at an effective weight.

Report back and I hope there’s good to report

Just got my Silistretcher2 over the weekend, and I am very happy with it LOL. But the only issue is the ALOT of water retention and I did experience some peeling skin and a blister. Im going to have to take a few days off. One thing that I did notice was that the durosleeve the was sucked into the strecher, so I guess their was too much suction.

It sounds like you had too much suction pulling the sleeve in an awkward way that caused blisters. Do something else while this heals. It is never wise to work through a blister as it will scar you. Be sure to use lots of bacitracin as the blister heals. There are many other things you can do while this is healing.

Today, for the first time after about 5 uses, I got 2 blisters on my glans after 1h40. I'm thinking it's because the glans sleeve wasn't as flush to the glans as before.

How long do these blisters take to heal?

How effective have the pin holes been for you guys? @PE-bob @Brawn Johnson @huge-girth or anyone that has had experience with them

Personally, I don't wear the silistretcher for more than 1 hour at a time. The blisters will leave within a week. Next time, wear the silistretcher for 1 hour at a time and then remove it and wear it again for another 1 hour to avoid blisters.

No pumping or jelqing for a week ? I guess I'll have to stretch like a maniac.
And you've had success with the pin holes, @huge-girth right?

I don't have the time to wear the silistretcher so I just focus on using my length master for 1 hour daily.

I’m sorry my brother but blisters do happen from time to time. I love your attitude that it’s time to get to work on length while you heal your blisters. Do not pop or prod the blister, allow it to drain itself. You can use hot compresses to speed the process but don’t do anything else as it will leave scars.

I have been using this method for a while and it is working good for me. Sometimes I remove the white padding and just use tape and Silipad2 but the Silipad3 is going to really help when it’s out.

I also tend to use the Silicap but have tried with and without.

If I am going to use more tension then I don’t twist Silistretcher piston as much because the pull itself will create more suction.

Wearing for more than 1.5 hours is probably going to cause some fluid, so I tend to remove it at this mark and massage quickly for about 5 minutes and if glans is cold use MOSRed for additional 5 minutes then reapply if wearing longer. Doing this reduces amount of fluid for me.

Hope this helps

@mil309 check the link out below. Scroll up or down until you see pics. This method might help you with fluid retention. I would try various options and see what works best for you. Silicap, no Silicap, Silipad, tape etc.

if this is the case...why not have the silicap with a pinhole from the start if this is considered best practice???

Yes that is a smart way to progress and some of the sleeves are incorporating pin holes for the release of air in certain situations. @Lightning is the sleeve master, he should chime in.
