Clamping - Question / Idea?

Started clamping, I guess you would call it "soft clamping", by cutting a piece from a Silisleeve and folding in half creating a double stacked/layered type of ring. It's only been about 2 weeks and there is a noticeable difference. If it's temporary or permanent, only time will tell. This past week I got the idea to soft clamp on my final round of pumping in the Bathmate (3 rounds x 5m each but only clamping last round). No discomfort and I've noticed it leaves me thicker for the majority of the day (pretty much the entire day) and should I decide to do a couple sets of soft clamp later in the day (several hours later) my starting girth is thicker than if I didn't pump that final round. So I'm thinking this is a good thing to really push expansion/girth. Yesterday I got this idea - "Any benefit to softclamping while using a stretcher like the Phallosan?" So of course I tried it. Definitely a tight fit getting into the Phallosan cup but if you release some of the blood and relax a bit no problem doing so. Stretching while clamped definitely is more noticeable feeling wise. I have to ease off the stretch just a bit compared to when I stretch without a softclamp (it gets slightly uncomfortable faster than stretching alone of course). I was just wondering have any of you more experienced guys ever tried a softclamp while stretching? What were your results? If no one has tried but has a good understanding (DLD, veterans of PE, etc) on the whole PE process and manipulating the tissue do you think there might be any benefit to it or any downside or is it possible its completely counter productive?

It's not really clamping, but the spirit of the method is there. It is actually restrictive blood flow. Clamping shut the blood flow off completely. It literally uses a clamping device.

While stretching, especially manual stretching, we normally don't use it. But when it comes to traction devices or extender devices, we do use them. This is mainly for days that we also in for girth and length.

It provides nice plump flaccid looks. If you're going to have sex that day, while wearing extender, it will provide that appearance but do be careful that it will reduce the EQ when you wear it pass a certain amount of hours.

There is really no downside to it. The only possible downside is when the blood flow is too constrictive, which means hardly any blood flow in, and hardly any blood flow out. This is thrombosis territory. Just be warned that long-term restrictive wearing with the dual layers, you may have EQ issues after 4 hours. The reduction is around 20%, and at worst 60%. Sometimes, EQ will be 100%, but suddenly drops down to 60% after a few minutes of intense session. This is due to long hour expansion tissue fatigues.

Avoid true clamping as it will cause thrombosis. Listen to @oldandlively his advice is on point

Good stuff. Thanks!

What is true clamping?
There are many brothers trying to use devices to cut off blood circulation and trap the blood in the penis for long hours. Examples are:

Cable and pipe clamps using a ratchet/fastening system to pinch down the dorsal blood vessels responsible for pushing fresh blood with nitric oxide and oxygen into the penis and pulling out spent blood through natural veinous constriction. Artificial constriction through these devices cannot control when the spent blood must exit, causing the blood cells to either die or clump up. When that happens, blood clots stat to form. Formation of blood clots cause thrombosis, and larger clots cause deep vein thrombosis. Ultimately, it result in a sudden heart failure, brain swelling, or organ failures. Just having a broken penis is nothing compared to system wide failure for using these devices past 10 minutes each time.

For those who think it could never happen to them because they've been doing it for so long, what they don't see now doesn't mean it won't manifests later down the road.

"soft clamping"
i never heard this term, but if this is how you describe it, that is ok because others may do the same and they will find this thread and get the knowledge.

You are basically using a C-ring after a pump or routine. There are many and I mean many threads on this, so please research that. I honestly don't think you are truly clamping at all so I wouldn't use that term to describe what you are doing.

I will say that I do a light c-ring over balls and shaft after a pump that keep it thick but doesn't restrict blood flow. I have done it on the shaft as well, but find to much edema in that situation. I'm ok with 2-4 hrs with it on after a pump, I don't see any value of more time than that. If after this you still want to do something, you could use ADS or extender. On days I don't pump I will use Ads for 4-6 hrs.
