So, I showed a video of me squatting to a group of bodybuilders I'm apart of. I wanted to show this video, so I can correct errors and get input from people on this. One guy out of the blue said something like," This is the worst squat I've ever seen," In a snotty way. I told him I post these things to critque my form. Then he goes on to act like an asshole. Got so angry and wanted to kick his ass ( Glad he's online, If he seen me, he'd run like hell. ) I told him that it's kind of hard for me to squat, because of my height ( 6'7'' ), but I can fight through it.

Anyways, some other guy put him in his place and showed me the correct way to do it in a humble, but tough love type of fashion. CAn't stand these little shits talking trash, but won't post their worth in anything. Anyone had to deal with these types?

I dunno, I've heard rumors that there's been a guy or two like that on MOS, from time to time.
What I choose to do is consider the source, then, most of the time just ignore 'em.
Especially online, people can only insult you if you allow them to.

Some people are just negative. And I don't think it's an inflated ego issue, but more of an insecurity that they need to constantly put others down to feel temporarily okay with themselves. Psychology is an interesting thing. It's hard to have a thick skin about it at times though. And those guys that think they know it all usually know very little-because they are unable to learn from those around them. This means the actual learning they do is minimal. Humility is the best foundation for learning. The wisest people never stop learning no matter how expert they appear to become at something... and if they keep going at that rate, they become the best.

Let him be a moron, you'll pass him soon enough with his attitude, regardless of height differentials.

Rarely happens that I get upset online.
Maybe it's b/c the air is really thin up there where you breathe

Exactly. Online gives them security to act like assholes. I remember one kid that talked shit online on facebook. Found out that he lived right near me. Saw him at the grocery store and confronted him. He didn't say shit and wanted to call the cops on me. Bunch of losers.

As far as hate goes; takes a lot of energy and a lot of your life to hate. And most of the time the object of your hatred just ain't worth it. If it was me, I'd just give it on up.

Yeah, they're just trolls anyway. Little shits will walk by you in real life and won't say anything though....lol. Hey, telling the truth here!

'Cept, as Ali said, "It ain't braggin', if it's true".

The gym scene is full of this crap. My friend take it with a huge dollop of salt and shrug it off. These guys often criticise hard-working logical thinking men like yourself because they are envious and insecure. Anything to try and knock a stronger man down. Many joined the gym because they were seen as too weak in the first place and it was to get them 'inflated'.

Yes I dislike such people but I learned LONG AGO that they are not worth my precious strong energy to waste on and simply smile, ignore them and keep squatting like a champ because when your where you wanna be at, they will stick be bitching at the next guy plus you can bet several are juiced to the gills and reckon the grass is greener :)

Well I found your problem right there.

With the exception of a few places (like MOS and bodybuilding.com), the internet is really a bad place to try and get information from other people. A lot of them are angsty teenagers/20 somethings with daddy issues. Yes, I am generalizing here, but only because there is validity in it.

Yeah. Some guys helped me with doing squats better at a taller height, so I'm good. I can squat more deeper now with good form.

well going to gym really is an EGO boost, i remember i just forgot about endurance and performance, just the looks of body getting bigger makes you forget about all the rest.

Lol, true. I do hip flexor and mobility exercises for 30 minutes to stretch out good and working with lower weight in order to hit thigh to calves. It's gonna' take alot of practice, but I'll get it.

Hey post the info and the video. I'd love to get some pointers on my squats.
