Alternatives to tape for vac extender

I've noticed a bit of abrasion from all the dryness using the vac extender. I'm taking my first day of rest from it just to let things get back to reasonable levels of ugly. I never used the tape that came with it, but I see why it was included now.

I'm thinking of maybe going with gauze or something like regular scotch tape over the urethra to see if that helps. But I am hoping to get some tips from the massive knowledge base here. Hasn't hurt too bad, but it isn't good to see damage in your pee hole.

You need to either use a glan protection cap of some sort or use some cohan tape to wrap your glans to prevent your issue.

Gonna try a condom. If it's successful I may post a video on how to set it up without slippage. Took me a few tries but it seems good now.
