e=energy but this equation does not contain this, what you are seeing shows a mathematical function in this case /Sigma.

The "photoshop" bit suggested a non Physics specific idea, but I know Image processing requires very similar equations :D , so don´t take me literally. These clearly comes from a 4 variable probability (p) matrix, so, with imaging...

We are speaking TEXTURE here, not physics (or thermodinamics).

Still, the ASM and ENT eqs take on very similar forms as their physics (Angular second moment) and thermodinamics (Entropy) counterparts, so...

ENERGY in this context represents a measure of order, which you need to do any processing work (hence the analogy). Another way to see it, is as the opposite of entropy (disorder or chaos).

So, Squareroot(ASM) is in fact equal to E by this approach.



Now, your second set of equations are representing only the Yi(x) bit of a expansion to infinity of...

something lol I don´t know what the hell but it must have the form of a second order differential equation with complex x and independent parameter v. If these are auxiliary functions, then you need to give us more info to keep going.
