I'm just curious as to who you guys think should play 007 in the upcoming film "Casino Royale." Personally the only guy I can even imagine is Jude Law. But I'm sure there are others. They are starting production already with, evidently, no one cast in the role. Pierce Brosnon has retired from the role after playing the super-spy since 1995's GoldenEye.

He has to be BRITISH, no Amercans or anyother nations. It wouldn't be James Bond with a Non-British actor innit, and for the record Sean Connery is Scottish which is Britain. However someone Irish would be just as good, like Pierce who comes from the Republic of Ireland [South].
I myself would LOVE to see Vinny Jones as the new Bond, he can be classy when he wants and a superb actor, the hardman of the screen. Jude Law is a good choice. Ewan McGregor also. DEFFO NOT Hugh Grant, please NEVER HIM. I cant think if any wellknown Black or Asian UK actors, but saying that Pierce wasnt well-known either before he got the part. Colin Farrell would also make a good bond, hes also Irish.

Damn, I always wondered if Hugh Jackman could play it, but I don't know what he is. Do any of you know?? Is he Australian or something? He could give the Bond character a rugged look. Hydromaxm...I don't know.

A bit young but Orlando Bloom would be really good....but Jude Law hands down would be excellent. Other picks could be Eric Bana or Hugh Jackman but they're Aussie and probably a little to muscular for the role.

Hugh, Hydromaxm. Maybe? He's got that rogue, tough guy thing but not overly so like say...Vin Diesel. Vin would be overkill for the part.

I'm glad Brosnon is finally done with Bond. Personally, I always thought Connery was the best Bond. Definitely would have to be an actor from the U.K., outside shot at an Aussie. I could see Jude Law doing a very good job at the role. Wouldn't have thought of him at first, but good call on that one, Texan.
Jude Law doesn't seem macho enough to me to really pull off the Bond role, Brosnan barely got it done. I like Clive Owen personally. He's got the appeal of a guy's guy but he can play sophistication with ease. The latest rumors are that Dugray Scott (bad guy from Mission Impossible 2) has it locked up, but that may not mean much.

Yea maybe Swayze. But then again I cant get over the kiddie adult entertainment stash bust from Donnie Darko 
i honestly think the two best choices would be jude law or ewan mcgragor, but remeber those are two A-list celebrities so i dont think they would take a bond role over a potential oscar role. i personally think Jason Statham(the guy from snatch, lock stock and two smoking barrels, and the transporter) would make a perfect bond because hes more believable then law or mcgragor at doing the action that bond needs. also, why are they doing casino royale again. that was one of the worst bond movies made so far. the least they could do is remake one of the better classic bonds like they did with thunderball.
