viagra newbie

If you don't have ED, I wouldn't recommend using Viagra. You can build a dependency. I also recommend 25 mg to start with. I had fairly severe ED and 25 mg. was plenty for a few years. It took me about twenty minutes to achieve good results.
 
I take other bp meds that affect my erections, and had it prescribed by my doc. 50mg didn't help maintain the erection, might have to go higher, I'll call the doc first, thank you for the info.

I have found that some of the generic Viagra is much stronger than the official Viagra. Some stuff I was getting from India was crazy strong, 50 mg felt like 200!

Actually, there's no real evidence that you can develop a dependency for these medications. Not chemically anyway. Psychologically, perhaps. Then again, that's in your head (pun intended). I too recommend 25 mg or about 1/4 of a 100mg pill to start with. It won't "kick in" per se. You may notice some increased nasal congestion, maybe a light headache if you are not a well hydrated individual. Otherwise, you still need a desire to have sex, or get an erection. These medications don't turn you into a walking erection contrary to how some men seem to think. They simply make getting and maintaining, and sometimes re-gaining an erection much easier. On an "empty" stomach, it usually takes about 30 minutes or so for the effects to start.

That's an excellent site. Lot of compassionate men there. I actually met up locally with a couple of them about a year ago. We ate some good burgers, had a few beers, talked about ED and PE. Good times. I forget the one guys' screen name, but he came up with the "V stretch" (thundersplace) and the other guy is a friend who posts on my forum and developed "Dave's Technique" which I show in my hanging how to guide.
