Throwing in kegals. Advice needed

Hey, I am starting to throw in kegals, in know my PC muscle is weak, it has to be, but I got a question, should I go for repitition or time. Ex: I have been trying to squeeze my PC basically for as long as I can at a time, in one hand a stopwatch, and I basically squeeze untill I can't anymore, stop the stopwatch, wait a few seconds start the stopwatch and squeeze again, I just started this a day ago, I went the first day for a total of 2 mins. the second day I doubled that and went for 4 mins total. I thought I read somewhere that one should work their PC muscle for a total of 15 mins, so I think that should be my goal. I can already feel the affects of this work, cuz I can feel that muscle getting stronger and I also woke up with some pretty serious morning wood!

Anyway.... should I stay with: going for time, or like many do,.... just flex and squeeze untill fatigue and repeat.

Thanks

kegals are a very important part of pe that people leave out of their routines. they make or break your gains. i focus on quality over quantity myself. i do long holds of 5 mins. sometimes 10 mins. its up to u 2 start where u feel comfortable.

I start out with sets of short kegels. Then I lengthen the time with each set until the muscle is exhausted: i.e 2 second holds, 5 second ones, 10 second, 20 second, thirty second, one minute, two minutes, etc.

pepepe, you hold em at 5 min at a pop, pretty cool, I could imagine eventually working up to that, not at the moment though, I did about totall 5 mins yesterday. Busted a pretty ill nut last night also.
GF11x7, I knew you'd be of the ones to respond to this, I remeber you talking how ill these kegals can be.
