Once you decide upon a routine, start a Routine and Process Log stating all your beginning measurements, your goals, your routine and any other information. This is what we encourage new members to do.

Thanks @DLD. I’m flattered with the personal shout out. You seem to be a...”big deal” haha sorry but I couldn’t help myself.

I’ve been aware of PE for a few years but was on the fence about it. I ended up ordering a hydromax7 that should be here in a few days. I did my research on the pump but I think I may have mistakenly believed that pump would be the end all be all.

After some continued research, I realized I was going to need to do more than just use the pump. That research kept leading me back to MOS. I spent most of my day trying to figure out what minimum I needed to do to aid cementing results of the hydromax7. Reason being, I was just overwhelmed with all the terms and plethora of approaches I could take.

Today I switched gears and thought maybe I could be convinced of a more balanced approach to general PE. I saw your embedded YouTube video and thought you seemed personable and relatable. I was inspired to join the community in hopes to simplify navigating the site and maybe get some more personal advice.

I’ve just become familiar with proper measuring and now haven’t done it yet. I did not bone press and I’m right at 6 in erect length. My phone is 6.22 and just barely hides my length without pressing. I’ll get a better way to measure LOL. I would say I’m proportionate girth wise.

As my username loosely indicates my goal is 8”. 9 sounds way better to me, but I’d like to see how well my body responds before I make any “stretch goals” haha..last time.

Im in my late 20s and I stay active. My body responds to weightlifting with steady progress so I’m hoping the same comes with PE.

I’m glad to be here and it’s incredible that support like this exists.

Nice, you have some tools coming as in you're getting ready really pump it up! ;)
Joking aside, Hydromaxes are good and can give good gains when you use it consistently and go for the 5x5x3 method. (Slow Squash Jelqs are great for girth expansion!)
There are videos available: MoS videos and audio files, learn and gain!

I'm glad to hear that you're staying active. Positive gym results can be an indicator for good possibilities with PE. Most of all, it's about the consistent routines, I would say.
Three D's, @Big Schwanz Acht (!) Determination, Dedication and Discipline!

If you have that 9" in mind, keep it as a goal! ;) Setting a goal little higher than what might be more realistic is better, you can make your body work harder for gains when you set higher goals. Kind of like tricking your mind in some way, if that makes sense.
A steady routine and measuring every 3 months is good. You can eye things a bit and do some measuring once in a while to see if you're getting temporary expansion for example.
I suggest a ruler that has no space before the zero point for easier measuring. Tailors tape works for girth.


Glad to have you here! Be sure to make that progress log, get good measurements and keep on working out! I suggest taking some video or picture evidence, even if just for yourself, it can help in the future, for comparison at least.

I started officially with the newbie routine this morning. I already wish I had a silicone sleeve or ring of sorts. Jelqing really plumped things up. That was motivating.

I also picked up some baby powders, cortisone, a heating pad, and multivitamin.
Welcome to the brotherhood and then as for your opening post. The newbie routine is an awesome place to start, you will learn much in basic PE and how to create a good foundation. I also suggest you read the SRT routine as there is much advice there on healing and gaining. Have a readthrough and come back with any questions you may have.
 
Day 2 of the newbie routine. Jelqing is the only thing I’m not totally confident in. It’s hard to make a complete grip after about 30-50 from the temporary size.

I want to get some measurements soon, but am needing some tools. Also think I want a ring and/or silicone sleeve for recovery. Thoughts on that?

Hydromax7 is out for delivery today. I’ll be looking into incorporating that into a repeatable schedule.

For measuring, as I might have mentioned, a sturdy ruler (metal or wooder for example) without space before the zero for easier measuring. Tailors tape for girth.

The Silirings could be very good, but if you just ordered the Hydromax7 I understand if ordering so soon might feel a bit funny. Automotive stores carry O-rings in boxes with different sizes, that's one makeshift solution. (And actually pretty good, albeit the O-rings are relatively thin and can pinch at times.)

But for the sleeves, those from the MoS shop. Longer ones for healing while elongated, at least from my viewpoint. Shorter ones might be better when you use certain tools like an extender, Lengthmaster etc..
And of course you can wear sleeves while pumping with the Hydromax too!

Day three us in the books! I’m feeling great so far.

Stretching went well. It wasn’t bad before but I’ve developed a more comfortable grip that doesn’t results in soreness. It’s also less strenuous for the hand.

Weather caused a delay in the hydromax7 delivery, so when I was surprised with it’s arrival this morning I did deviate a little. After Jelqing I warmed down with kegels and then jumped in the shower with the hydromax7. I couldn’t help myself. I needed to know what to expect.

I did about 3 minutes, a rest and then 6 minutes and hung her up to dry. I’m not totally sure how to incorporate with my existing morning newbie routine. I allowed myself to experience somebody pressure. I saw some temporary purple around the edge of my head.

Jelqing has improved for me today. That’s something I wasn’t doing correctly. I couldn’t find 5x5x3 info for some reason. I’m also semi struggling with getting too hard during bundled stretches.

Overall I’m very motivated with the post routine plump. Words can’t describe.
 
That sounds like a plan to me! The 5x5x3 in the morning could mean quite prominent temporary gains for the day and one could see that as a problem, if you're working in public, office with other people etc..
And considering you could at the 5x5x3 to your evening shower, I would see it as a nice way to get to the bed. :)
 
Awesome. I’m going to do it that way and see how it goes. I did some mildness pumping as I mentioned above; would it be ok to do another mild session tonight for the sake of forming the habit?

Side note—I feel like I’m partially wasting my time by not owning a silisleeve!
 
Yes, forming a habit sounds good, as long as these first times you can maintain yourself not going overboard. ;)

I've made gains prior to the Silisleeves, but they do help a lot. When you have the chance, consider them. I wouldn't say you're wasting your time! Keep on with your routines and workouts.

Thanks, I’ll do my best to keep posted.

Due to some unexpected affection, I’ve chosen to give my member the evening off. Earlier today I thought I’d kickoff 5x5x3 as an evening routine, but I’m saving it for tomorrow.

Tomorrow I’ll get some baseline measurements. I measured BPEP at 6.75 yesterday. I need to confirm, as well as gather measurements for girth and the other varieties. I picked up a string tape today so I should have what I need. I have a zero mark square to serve as s rigid BP measuring device. I’m still in the market for something properly sized. The fabric store where I got the nylon tape, tailors tape or whatever you want to call it, didn’t have anything I liked.

Tomorrow I’ll begin with the newbie routine. I’ve been warming up each day with gel pack made by equate. It’s velvet on one side and a nice plastic silicone clear side with blue and red gel beads. I use a scented warmer to keep it warm. I’m not sure how long it takes to reach temp because I leave it on all the time. It felt like a fair equivalent to the hot bath from day one without the hassle.

Tomorrow evening I’ll do my first official 5x5x3 session with the hydromax7 by Bathmate. First impressions from today’s experimenting were positive. The pressure was a new sensation, but very welcomed. I’m looking forward to pushing the limits with that device as I deem healthy. Side quest for my personal goals overall would be to grow enough to upgrade to the next size up in the series.

As far a small personal care goes, you’ll find below how I’ve chosen to start.

I stretch with baby powder and Jelq with warm water and dove moisturizing bar soap. It’s a clean finish when you rinse and I don’t like the lingering feeling of Vaseline or lotions. NOW, to contradict my most previous statement I finish off the newbie with just enough hydrocortisone that it rubs in cleanly. I understand this is for the purpose of healing the surface as well as drawing nutrients to the penis.

I’m also on a men’s multivitamin.
 
P.S. the silisleeves have been ordered! I’m really excited about them.

I probably won’t make any more major equipment purchases for a while. I’d like to see how far this routine can get me. I may get too bored to ride it out to a plateau, but I’d be interested to see how close this approach alone could get me.
