Something I tried today.

I don't know if any of you do this already, but today I tried something a little different. When I did my power stretch to my left and right I would use my second hand to get extra pull and then hold a lunge to the opposite side. So if you pulling to the right, lunge far to the left.

It was a pretty extreme pull for me. If you do this be careful. I wouldn't recommend it for people new to pe.

When you say "lunge" do you mean an actual squat while stretching?
 
Not a squat but a lunge. Stand with your feet about twice your shoulders width apart. Keep one leg straight as you lean to the opposite side. You bend the knee on the side you lean to.
Its like a side lunge. You just dont go this far down when doing th stretch.

Funny you mention that. That is the only way I do manual stretching, otherwise I cant get enough pressure. I thought it was just me :p.

I could have sworn that REDZULU had a few exercises using these methods. Chime in RED if I'm right. The technique looks awesome and I am going to give it a go.

It does give a good stretch... way better than I am use to. You can also do it with a squat when stretching straight down then push up with your legs, but I take it easy with those cause I feel that on downward stretching I am more prone to lig pops and I dont like that feeling.
