Quick mention - I'll post more later. Really liked the Royal wedding on April 29th at Westminster Abbey. Prince William married Kate Middleton. Watched it live of course. Very proud moment and this will help move the British monarchy more forwards with the times as both are pretty with 'it'.

Great traditions with the guards and the whole thing went so well. Surprised no one on here has mentioned it, so lovely yet when someone like OBL gets killed its all news :s

We've forgot about it now but it was special because its such nice news and they are in love, plus the British royal family are the leaders in monarchy life world wide so it attracts lots of attentional. New Zealand would like it as they are part of the commonwealth, once owned and ran by the UK. The queen is still a monarch to you guys as well.

I know that the weirdo who runs Australia (That fucking miserable dug up corpse look alike) and she's a women wants Australia to become a republic and have no attachment to the British monarchy ... shame because allot of these nations that were ran by the UK used to have more respect for the crown than they do now but still a good turnout in places like Canada as well.

The Aussies have a huge chip on their shoulder with the Brits I LOVE IT bring it on Kangaroos.

I think it is wonderful, you guys in Europe have such romantic celebrations! Kings, Queen, Princes and Princesses, chivalry at its finest. I hope some day to live in the UK, I know I would be so much happier in a place like this.

but the story bout queen and here goes like this.
here in new zealand (way bacc in the day) the maori which im proud to be were the first people here.
we were a ruthless tribal race who knew nothing but our beliefs and killing anything that disrespected that. anyway
when the europeans were exploring the world one of the last countries they found was new zealand.when they came to our shores my people had never
seen the white man before haha we call them pakeha(white ghost) anyway they brang disease to our people and war.
any way a treaty was signed and this would be the first and the last time the queen would actually be here in new zealand.
it was peace for maori and pakeha to live here as 1 nation.now im not hating cuz if white people didnt show up we would all still be running round in grass skirts killing eachother haha.
not to mention they brang white girls(god bless the white girls)
anyway its not that were disrespecting the crown.its just i think weve made new zealand what it is without the queen(which in my opinion probably would of been better if she was present haha)and dont want to be seen as just another place that belongs to the british.
but as i said im thankful the british showed up here we live like the british and the americans but maori still plays a large part in new zealand sociaty.

Europe is very diverse and full of history. Great idea would be for you to come visit Europe for 6-8 weeks and travel around Europe. Really very rich diverse people and culture. They say its unlike anywhere else on the globe.
