Hello everyone,
I have been aware of [words=http://www.mattersofsize.com/join-now.html]MOS[/words] for years now, and actively posted for a good amount of that time. During one of my forays into hanging I spent a consistent 8 months barely missing a day and doing it at least an hour and a half each time. One night, after a long time without having sex, I finally got a girl I was seeing to open up to me sexually. That day I had hung two hour long sets at around 15 lbs (if I remember the weight correctly), and I ejaculated once or twice to prevent premature ejaculation during sex. So that night I go to see the girl and I have her naked, and I couldn't get an erection to save my life. To be fair, I did get relatively hard for like 10 seconds a few times, but never long enough to actually be able to enter her pussy.
Based on this I attributed my ED on that night, which was the first time I ever had ED in my entire life, to hanging weights. Fast forward to now, about a year later. I haven't hung weights for many months. I have been jelqing almost every day for near two months. A lot of times I get rock hard erections, but my EQ and number of erections isn't always like it was before when I was younger. So I finally meet another woman and we go to have sex. I COULDN'T GET UP AGAIN, DESPITE NOT HANGING AND JELQING INSTEAD, WHICH I THOUGHT SOLVED THIS PROBLEM. So what ended up happening is we tried about 3 times to get it in, and it didn't work so we took a half hour break. After that half hour I was later able to get it up and keep it up long enough to fuck for a few minutes here and there, but I wasn't able to do what I used to and stay rock hard for 20-30 minutes straight.
So I want an opinion from you guys on these things that I have read could be the cause of my ED issues. Please tell me which one you think is most likely, what your reasoning is, and if I include reasoning why it makes sense.
1. I have sexual anxiety that can only be fixed with patience and getting to know the woman better. This would make sense if we consider that this most recent time (today) I was able to perform, albeit inadequately, whereas I wasn't a year ago because this time we were more patient and took more time to relax.
2. I am out of shape. The experience last year I weighed about 20-30 pounds more than I do now, and I had more trouble (although I didn't take it as relaxed as this time) getting it up. This time I was able to perform more, so maybe the fat loss helped? I should mention I am 6'1'', and currently about 270, so I am still technically obese even though I have a decent amount of muscle.
3. I am a heavy smoker. Although I won't get into details, I smoke on a daily basis and more than even most heavy smokers. I have heard this can truly hurt EQ. The only thing I can say about this is that I have been smoking for about 4 years, and was smoking at a time when I was having a lot of sex and still having perfect erections. The only difference I can see between then and now is that I wasn't smoking for that long back then, and now it has been a solid four years so maybe the negative effects have built up with time.
4. adult entertainment has desensitized me. I watch adult entertainment at least once a day, sometimes multiple times, and I cum by watching adult entertainment at least once and often multiple times. I would like to say that although this is possible and some may argue for it, I used to watch way more adult entertainment in the past and I had extremely good and hard erections back then, so it doesn't seem like adult entertainment in and of itself is the cause.
5. I do pretty much no cardio and I haven't done so for years. Although I have begun lifting heavy weights again recently, the only "cardio" I have done is walking a couple of miles a day for the past few months. Nothing that really gets my heart beating. I will also mention, however, that a few years back I rarely did cardio and my erections were perfect. The only difference is back then I had many years of bodyweight training under my belt, which I stopped for a long time. I really don't think cardio is the solution though, although it is wise to do for health reasons.
Sorry for the essay, but if anyone takes the time to read and answer this I think it can be beneficial to all. I will begin to address these issues and see what results I get, but I will only do so one by one. If I do them all at once then I won't know if all of them, or a combination, or just one was the cause. For now I will keep my jelqing routine going, but if I get this ED issue solved I may happily go back to hanging.
