Just a quick one come across two terms that I can't figure out
First one is "LOL" and the second is "bump" sometimes these are posted on there own can someone please just give me a quick explanation. Also what is alphablade I know that it is something that DLD is developing but what. Thanks in advance.

"LOL" is a simple term for "Laugh Out Loud"...there are diffrent variations of this, but this was the first used. you'll see things like "ROFL" which means "Rolling on floor laughing. or "LMAO" which means "laugh My Ass Of"...

Then theres other things like "WTF" which means "What The Fu*K"...and "STFU" which means "Shut The Fu*k Up"

"Bump" is just a empty post. preety much when ppl's threads slowly go down to the bottom of the page (because other ppl post threads too, and only the more recent ones are at the top)...then they just post in it to bring it back up to the top so everyone can see it again.

"LOL" is an acronym for Laughing out Loudly. Short version of telling people you are laughing.


bump means you trying to keep the thread/post alive, so it stays on the front page and more people can read it. When you "Bump" something it doesnt go to the blackhole of dead forum posts.
