Definitely try it brother. Just saw your post on being tired of extending. The noose extenders can be a pain, especially at higher tensions.
The reason you probably never made any gains with the BIB is because of his outdated philosophy of using less
weight in order to not strengthen the suspensory ligament as he thought this would cause gains to be harder to achieve. This however was untrue as strength adaptations are inevitable.
I'm sure you have some weighted bags at home or some tools that you know the
weight of that you can use for
hanging. I'd start with 1kg and work your way up. I've personally never had to do more than 4kg to get that ache at the base but test the waters and see what works for you.
