My father is getting a penile implant today

He 50 yrs old, overweight, & diabetic. Just an unhealthy lifestyle. I don't talk to him much (at all really!).
So he's getting it done. Anybody else know someone with a penile implant?

There are a lot of guys on franktalk.org who have had implants and discuss the recovery period. From what I have read, full recovery can take a year or more, Many loose some length so Penis Enlargement could be of assistance in this regard. Most are happy with the results.

I have severe ED (diabetic) and an implant was a possibility; however, Trimix injections did the trick for me and saved me from the operation. If you get to talk to your dad, ask him if he had considered Trimix injections. My erections rival those of a teenager.

no he doesn't. he'll probably thinks it a scam. it like you can't teach a old dog new tricks. but it's like i said I don't talk to him much (at all really!). it was a surprise when i found out. he told everyone else he was getting surgery (didn't say penile) except me.

I have a friend that has one, he showed his wife how it worked and now he wakes many a night with a killer erection and his wife riding cowgirl! :-)

This is the strangest thing ever...I wonder what would happen if you feel arousal and in the instance of feeling the need for an erection and purposefully not pressing that pump..?? What would happen then...

Nothing. Arousal is a psycological response in the brain to a stimuli. The brain then sends a signal to the penis to begin the erection process. However, with an implant, the CC has been replaced by the implant mechanism so nothing happens. Same thing happens when you have ED as a result of a physical malfunction. The latter is my problem. I can watch adult entertainment and feel aroused but all I get is a semi at best, mostly it remains as Mr. softy.

DLD has the correct response to arousal: pump, pump, pump. In my case, I inject Trimix.

What I don't get is why you posted this and tried sounding all sad, especially when you didn't even try to tell him about Penis Enlargement. It also doesn't help that another member gave another suggestion, one much safer and that has gotten positive reviews, and you still haven't tried forwarding this info to your father. Even if ya'll don't talk, shoot him an email explaining things to him.
 
How would injecting your dick be a safer method? Injecting causes scarring which will later leave you needing an implant anyway.

Plus, having to inject your dick to get an erection would mean that you would always have to have the injections on you. That would take the spontaneity out of everything. In such a situation, I would rather have a pump that is always on me than to have to always prepare before sex. I like random sex, not sex where I have to make sure I lure the lady to my house so I can slip into the bathroom to inject or what have you.

The tubes for the device don't replace the corpora, they go inside of it. Your head and your spongium still get blood flow when aroused. The tubes make you solid as steel.
