Since January this year. Used it in the shower and the pin rusted

Okay. Use Silicone Grease (CRC) to lubricate all the moving parts.

Exact failure, was using it normally , then snap..... I was very sad(loudlycrying)(slap)(loudlycrying) No more pump routine till I can replace it ....

I followed your advice as well, beforehand of getting a new handle
