Hey guys,
Has anyone tried this? Supposedly taking high quantities of mucuna pruriens can cause priapisms - similar to the effects of viagra...
I came across this interesting claim after doing a little research on supplements for Penis Enlargement. Supposedly, the activating agent with mucuna is L-dopa (aka Levodopa), which is a precursor to dopamine. L-dopa plays a critical component for synthesizing dopamine in the brain (where it can produce a litany of healthy functions - including testosterone production). Interestingly, dietary intakes of L-dopa (through consumption of mucuna or fava beans) can cross the blood-brain barrier, whereas dopamine cannot.
Dopamine has many functions in the brain, including important roles in behavior and cognition, voluntary movement, motivation and reward, inhibition of prolactin production (involved in lactation), sleep, mood, attention, and learning.
Some of the articles I have found are listed below.

Wonder if this has any potential...?
