To answer the question, I think he is on the low end of average. It is sometimes hard to tell from pictures how big someone is because we do not know their height. For example, I am 6'2'' and well over 250 lbs (pretty muscular but I have quite a bit of fat too), so my 7.5 inches looks small on me but would probably look huge on that guy.
