Intensity of Stretching???

When you stretch how hard are you supposed to? Im doing the beginners stretch and I usually grip right behind the glans with an OK sign and pull our VERY HARD as far as my flaccid cock will go, without it hurting. I have heard mixed signals of some people saying to go easy when you are just starting. But I thought the whole point was to pull your cock hard to listen the ligs? Idk someone fill me in please ?:(
 
If it feels good for you than it is perfect.
 
I like to start off slow until my dick gets loosened up. Then I progressively stretch until I am pulling with close to 100% strength. Of course if it hurts really bad I let up some. Every day is different.
