If I am average then why...

As it stands right now I am just below 6 inches, erect according to multiple measurements. However I have shrunken embarrassingly small at times and the thing is that I've heard average to be somewhere between 5 and 6 inches erect so apparently I fall into average but that doesn't square with what I see in the locker room at the gym. Any theories on why I see so many people that seem much bigger if I am average?

have you seen people erect if so then what are you doing. some people with big flaccids might not get bigger when they are hard others vica versa. it jsut depends on your body type and how you built. you might be a grower. hell how old are you you may not have even hit puberty. be joining this site you have a good chance to have what ever size you diesire with your dedication. if its that important then take the chance...longer you look and wonder longer its gonna take for you to grow

Two reasons, first flaccid says is absolutely no indicator of erect size, some people are as big erect as they are flaccid, and some people grow 3 times bigger from flaccid to erect.

The second reason is foreshortening or some confidence related illusion; your penis will most likely appear smaller than others for you even if it's the same size or even bigger.

In any situation where you are in the company of other men it is natural to think that they look much larger. In most cases they are thinking the same thing.
