Best of luck to you lee. Marriage can be rough at times. All kinds of things rear their ugly heads to tear it down. I have been having my own related problems of late. For me personally I think with the passage of time I have lost the discipline to be true to myself. If you are not mentally healthy it is hard to expect your relationships to be. I don't mean this as a judgemeant on you or your marriage I simply mention it as my own personal relation in regards to your dilemma.
