Hand pain during stretching

I stretch for some time and I am confronted with a problem which I hoped to pass the time, but it never happened.
The problem is that while I am stretching, the hand grip area starts to hurt (foto attached). And when I stretch and squeeze (to hold the grip) harder, it hurts even harder. This prevents me to fully stretch ligaments. Do you know any solution for this problem?

This would also be a great way to give your hand strength. I dont have one of these yet but I use a squishy ball so I can squeeze the living life right outta it.

Was gonna suggest the same

I have experienced it as well at times. I think it is very similar to 'Gamekeepers Thumb', though, not a severe injury/fracture like in that syndrome, but rather just some strain to the soft tissues of that area. Google 'gamekeepers thumb' and see if that is similar. It will go away in time and with practice. I got the same thing when last spring I first started using those hand springs Turnover talked about. It goes away as the soft tissues get acclimated.

I never really used anything, eventually my hands became a steel grip...just took some time.
