post workout is same as pre.

Dinner includes either chicken beef, vegetables sometimes pasta.

Work out schedule
I train hard usually as heavy as i can lift for 7-10 reps with 2-3 sets
Mon. Bicepts, Chest, Traps
Tue. Tricepts, legs, and abs
and continued.

read up on ectomorphs some people suggest working one muscle group a day, dont know about that or if i could stick to it.

didnt mention i rotate the work out schedule and work out 5-6 days a week, is there any ectomorphs around that can help me gain.

the diet looks good and the routine looks ok..how much do you weigh now? how many calories are you trying to get in a day? i'm not an ectomorph...i had trouble gaining weigh a couple of years ago but when i started to work out consistently along with a good diet of taking in atleast 2,000 calories a day i gained 15lbs in about two months and although i'm not eating like i use to and not working out as consistently it stayed on me...how old are you? your metabolism is probably really fast...but you have the right idea to gain...it is gonna take more than a couple of weeks though...good luck

i am 19 and my metabolism is very fast. i think i might be over training so im keeping the same workout schedule with a day inbetween each work out to give muscles 2 days. right now i weigh only 150

So you are training a muscle group basically 3-4 times a week? If so, I would call that overtraining. Back in high school I did that and hit a sticking point. I soon dropped it to once a week and increased my calories and gained like crazy. You gotta give your musces time to grow.

Also, do you not train legs? That could be one of the BIGGEST mistakes. Training your legs will also have a direct positive effect on upper body growth as well.

I would also consume more food. To grow you have to eat. Bottom line. If you have trouble gaining weight, even more so.

You simply arent eating enough. I only see carbs in your first meal...and the pasta.

Even though this might shock you, I believe you should eat something similar to this..

10 eggwhites, 1 cup oatmeal
7oz chicken breast, 8oz potato
same as above, 10g fish oil
2 scoops whey, 1 cup oatmeal
train
7oz chicken breast, 8oz potato, 10g fish oil
7oz tilapia, 2 tablespoon natural peanut butter
8oz lean meat

Somethin like that.

If you did this and quit overtraining...plus training legs..you'll start growing like crazy. Difficult? Yes. But no one ever said gaining muscle is easy.
