Excess Skin

I've been exercising for about 5 months and have made decent gains in both length and girth. Although my girth has suffered growth for the last two months. These gains however have caused me alot of excess skin. This skin seems to be a problem when stretching as it gets in the way or gets pulled too much. Any grip ideas to help me when stretching? I currently use palm up ok grip behind the glans for all my directional stretching. Thanks!
