Maize flour is similar and its all I have, am I good to go with using that?

It has to be white and like icing sugar in consistency, like talc powder.

Btw the material for the [words=http://fleshlight.sjv.io/c/348327/302851/4702]fleshlight[/words] is very pourous and permeable. Make certain you place it somewhere it can completely dry after washing it - using nothing more abrassive than hand-soap, or if you have it the cleaner they sell for these synthetic skin-like materials (known by their trademarks: Cyberskin, UR3, Soft Touch, Futurotic, Neoskin etc.).

As far as I understand ONLY when it is completely dry apply the powder / cornflour (also called, Corn starch / cornstarch).

Very good advice. I ruined a [words=http://fleshlight.sjv.io/c/348327/302851/4702]FleshLight[/words] doing just what you said, cleaning with soap...it just deteriorated. Now I only since with hot water and leave it in the shower where it stays moist and easy to clean when I shower.

The cleaner products you mentioned, what are the generic brands?

I just dont want to order from a sex shop. Surely theres other places that sell cleaner for other silicone based products that I can use for [words=http://fleshlight.sjv.io/c/348327/302851/4702]fleshlight[/words]

Yes there are. But in fact silicone based materials are totally different and not what the [words=http://fleshlight.sjv.io/c/348327/302851/4702]fleshlights[/words] are made of.
Which is a shame as Silicone based products can be exposed to pretty much anything - except being left in silicone based lubricants - and can be heated up to 300 degrees centigrade.
