It's penile fatigue caused by the seesaw effects between length and girth. The fatigue can be determined by the EQ that you mentioned as one of the primary factors. When that happen, give yourself a day of break, with light massages and light C-jelqs and edging.

I was not sure if it was because I increased time hanging to 25-30 minutes lighter weight
before I would put 10 pounds on a minute or two at a time with min or two minutes rest between sets for like 30 minutes or so !
Wasn’t sure if that was a better approach to length as I’m still learning what my body reacts to best

Best to experiment on how the body responds to the different methods. 10lbs for 5 minutes, and then the rest at much lower weight, around 2 to 3lbs. You can even try 8lbs for 10 minutes, follows by 4lbs for 30 minutes. Definitely try different variation for 1 full week before changing. You have to see how the body reacts multiple days. Eventually, the body will change again every few weeks as it adopts and then adapts to the new weight cycling.
