I have been finding myself slightly modifying the v-jelqs I do, and I feel these minor modifications are making them more effective. I have always preferred to do my routines without distractions and standing up. I simply feel it helps me focus better. What I have been doing isn't anything major, but helpful anyways. As I go to grip the base of my shaft I slightly squat and bend over because it exposes my unit better, and allows me to grip it really close to the base. In addition, I really cup my hand a lot, bending my wrist quite a bit. This also helps me to get a real good, deep grip. I use the spacing between my pointing finger and middle finger for gripping, as they are my strongest fingers. As I begin to jelq, I slowly stand up and tighten my stomach, in effect I am pulling my unit through my fingers as opposed to only gliding my fingers up my shaft. As I near my glans, and the inevitable skin builds up, I kegel just as I reach the base of my glans and the kegel pulls the skin down. By pulling my shaft through my fingers as opposed to running my fingers up my shaft, my fingers in a sense can concentrate on gripping my shaft firmly, while my standing up and tightening my stomach muscles can do the rest of the work. I probably glide about halfway up my unit, and then pull it the rest of the way.
