Um... christian republican hypocritical?

Not all Republicans are religious or moral police. Many republicans oppose a Gay Marriage Ammendment, support legalization of drugs, prostitution, etc. They are often drowned out by the Religious Right. If Republicans lost the support of the Pat Robertsons and Jerry Falwells, they would have no chance of winning.

But the short answer is, neither Reps or Dems support a limited constitutional government. Only Libertarians do.

Its called the Rule of Law. Ya know, its part of civilization? If Religious zealot werent as civilized, like during the Pilgrim days, you guys would still be burning people thinking they were witches, and stoning homosexuals.

The Ten Commandments arent even sufficient enough rule of law. More than half arent even laws! Obey your parents? Not a law. Covet they neighbors wife? Not a law. Use Lords name in Vein? Not a law.

But fuck all the "who is right" b/c the religious people will never look past the bible, so whats the point. The Supreme Court is ruling on a case that asks, "Is Pledge of Alligiance Unconstitutional for using Under God"?

No, sorry. Law has nothing to do with it. You would still be upset even if stealing was against the law.

I never even mentioned the Bible. Quit putting words in my mouth. All I said was you would be upset if someone stole something from you no matter how "in the right" they thought they were. That is MORALITY, not law.

I never said anything about the Ten Commandments either. Where do you come up with this crap? I never said they were laws. They are not laws. Law is a man-made institution.

There does exist a sense of right and wrong outside of the Bible. You obviously don't look to the Bible but you still think certain things are right and certain things are wrong. So that argument was also invalid.

Are you saying that without atheists and such, that religious people would be uncivilized and barbaristic? Where did you pull that assumption out of? That's the biggest crock I've ever heard. The witch burning thing is NOT a valid argument whatsoever, and I get sick of hearing people use it. That's like a black man hating a white man because white people used to own slaves. Completely ridiculous. And besides, witch burning has nothing whatsoever to do with Christianity. Unless your great great great great great grandmother was burned and you have some emotional trauma over it, it's stupid to hold that against Christians.

And sorry...no, this is nowhere close to 1984 and Communism and such. You're a long way off man.

No you've all got it wrong. I know what's right. None of you know anything.

Yes I'm being sarcastic. Chillax already.

With out liberals and Jews fighting for civil liberties, the Right would have everything dissolved to a religous state. Religion in governement, in schools, in pubic places, prayer at work, school, etc. Just like how the terrorists want entirely Islamic states.

Not saying Christians are terrorists, so dont get all uppidy.

I admit with only liberals, things like 3rd term abortion would still be allowed, and thats not good. So the balance is good, except when the Right take over a major part of the political party and system.

Like when Pat Robertson said that God was pulling for George Bush to win in November '04. Manipulation and exploitatioin like that are disgusting.
