I think that is what most of us would think. These acts are very far out of the mainstream. I used to think I was right near the top of the scale on "kinky openmindedness" until I heard some of the things discussed on Out-Q. Now, I have no desire to be near the top. lol

My whole point about my views on homosexuality is related to such things. These sex acts are far more prominent within the gay community and everything I've seen suggests this is a problem in the gay community. I believe any person, regardless of sexual orientation, is mentally disturbed when they consume bodily waste. Now, some might say it's none of my business, but the reality is that from a medical standpoint such acts are unhealthy and can spread disease. Society would be socially irresponsible to not speak out about promiscuous, unprotected sex and I think we would be irresponsible to not be critical of this other behavior.
 
I'm straight but not prejudiced. One thing I can't stand however is when a gay guy is totally OTT and flirts with other men even when they are straight.

I'm not uncomfortable with it in a sexual sense, I just find it rude and inconsiderate. I usually draw the conclusion, with people like that, that they are hiding behind an OTT persona that is entirely false. i.e. Why does a gay guy have to be camp. Answer- They don't. They are simply telegraphing their 'gayness'.

If someone is gay and doesn't make too much of a big deal about it I don't think there is anything wrong with it and I am totally comfortable around people like that.

I also love many of my friends (male and female) but I don't think that makes me gay. I think people sometimes get confused and think that if they love their same sex friends it makes them gay but that isn't true. You are only gay (or bi) if you are SEXUALLY attracted to people that are the same sex as you.

For me though it's women all the way, I just can't help myself. :)
 
Good post, Tom. It is kind of rude for anyone to be overtly sexual in a public situation, male, female, gay or straight. I have been around buddies who were just all over a girl and talking nasty and pawing them and we were all uncomfortable. I have also been in a situation where a chick was acting the same way toward me in front of others and it was very embarassing. Flirting should be fun and easy-going. There is nothing wrong with telegraphing your sexual interest in another. Just be mindful of the feelings of others. Don't make a fool of yourself.

Couldn't agree more. It's not just gays that do it but it is particularly noticeable for those on the receiving end. I hate overly offensive flirting. From either sex.

I am strait, not only because I am not attracted to men sexually, but I don't believe in such things. I understand that everyone will have sexual thoughts that involve homosexuality, including myself. It doesn't mean the person should become gay just because they are having those thoughts.
