Preventing blisters with the silistretcher

I'm about 136hours into the silistretcher 2 and i have just noticed a blister has formed on the tip of my glans. I think this was due to my taping method (and i have also read somewhere that moisture in the cup can cause this?). Anyways, i will learn from my mistakes, but i was wondering what i could do to make sure i keep my gains during the healing? I read it could take up to two weeks, so i don't want to lose anything in that time. i'm thinking anti-turtling sleeve or some light piss-pulls but not sure if this will be enough..

BTW i have gained about half an inch so far which is pretty good for 136hours! My routine is 4 hours of heavy ADS every morning. I take a break 2 hours in.

This happens to men every once in a while and it is a pain in the ass. I’m glad that you have identified why it’s happening. But let me advise you on what to do now. Do not, and I repeat, do not pop the blister. Allow the blister to drain on it’s own or you’ll end up with scarring that will not go away. You can use a hot compress and light pressure to help it go away quicker but do not pop. It should clear up on its own using a hot compress within 3 to 4 days

@DLD reading through these silistretcher forums and this seemed like the most applicable (rather than starting my own thread). First of all, the sili stretcher is definitely my favorite piece of equipment. When I can avoid blisters, I have been seeing great gains (already up to 8" BPEL), however I keep getting sidelined with these damn blisters that keep popping up on my glans.

*Side note* I read somewhere to avoid popping the blisters, and I cannot stress enough how true this is, it'll turn a couple weeks on the bench to a month or two, plus extremely painful...

So I've read through every post in this forum to try and see why I'm doing right/wrong. I've been following the advice of @Lightning by retracting the piston all the way, then backing it off, getting as far into the bell as I can, then going 1/2 to one full turn. After an hour I usually end up with some fluid retention in my glans, but nothing that doesn't go away after 2-3 minutes. And every now and then I'll take the sili cap off and there will be a damn fluid blister that had formed.

Not sure where I'm messing this up, any advice would be appreciated... I know if I can figure this out and avoid these annoying injuries, I can take these incrimental gains to the next level.

Try wearing a silicap to protect the glans, or, wear a condom to give some protection, that is what I would do to see if it helps.
Also if you have a silipad, try that. I understand your frustration here, if the silistretcher is to become legendary it must iron out this blister problem.

Use a couple strips of the microporous tape that came in your kit
and tape an X accross the tip of your penis. This usually does the trick for people that have issues with blistering.

Thanks for the advice guys. I'll have to give the tape a try once I get this current blister healed. So should I put the tape on over or under the silicap? or just by itself?

And I agree completely, if the blisters weren't an issue there's no telling how far along I'd be by this point.

Tape goes directly on the skin. You can try with tape only and see how that works.

The problem we see with many people is, they are new to vacuum stretching. Many people buy these systems and throw them on full tension and try to go many hours on their first days and get blisters. You need to slowly condition yourself before going long hours with heavy tension.

This is not a race, start with short sessions and light tension. Work your way up in time and tension over the course of two weeks.

I appreciate the advice, I will give that a try.

I got a blister several months back after hanging heavy and was about to quit it was so discouraging, also made me nervous I was going to get more then I found an approach that has been working extremely well for me. I noticed that when I get the blister there was moisture inside the cup, most likely due to urine being squeezed out while hanging, which can happen when your hanging 14 lbs.

So here is what I do and I haven’t gotten a blister yet.

1. Make sure your penis is clean and dry.

2. Then I cut 2 pieces of transparent, waterproof dressing film. This goes on top and below on the glans (basically surround the pee hole but don’t cover since I can go to the bathroom without undoing the dressing. I like to cut the film a little longer so it also sticks a little to the shaft, this helps prevent pinching when the skin starts to slide forward during heavy hanging.

3. I then cut a piece of gauze or toilet paper which I stick to a piece of tape which covers the pee hole. That way if I do drip a little it gets absorb by the gauze/tp.

4. I then use the SiliCap over the top of this and then proceed to put the SS on normally.

a few things, because the surface of the film is slick, applying the SiliCap and hanging heavy could cause it to slip a little, but this hasn’t been a big issue for me. Also you could probably wear this tape for days since it won’t peel off, but I usually take it off at the end of the day and reapply the next day. It is a little costly, but I hang 5 days a week and then ADS (for like 10–12 hrs) and I only need to apply once per day (could keep it on for several days, but choose not too). However since it has allowed me to hang without blisters (knock on wood), I’ll take it.

Wow! Thank you for your contribution I truly appreciate it! I love when the brothers come out with new ways to improve PE. The brotherhood is all about having the biggest and best Database possible!

This is great stuff man, I’m definitely going to give the waterproof dressing a try! I appreciate the help

@KingBlack3 dude, the waterproof dressing is an absolute game changer! Can’t believe how much it made a difference. The microporous tape was solid too, although a little bit of a pain to remove. Thanks so much for that advice!

No problem, the dressing has made it really easy for me as well. When I saw only 1 was in stock at Amazon, I started getting nervous. ??

They do that on Amazon to make you buy. It’s a scam and it usually works.
