I WO in the morning hours usually on an empty stomach. Been doing it for 3-4 years now, and never had a problem. I dont drink much water during my WO, and i know i should. I drink maybe 32oz of water during my WO.A couple months ago i did a full body workout, taking the previous entire week off. I got really dizzy as if i was going to faint. I cut my WO short and went home. The dizzyness got worse over a few hours and i ended up in ER!
At the time i was taking an ECA stack. They said i was dehydrated and gave me IV fluids equivalent to a case of gatorade.

It didnt help much. I took almost 3 weeks off work and no WO's. I was just really dizzy the whole time. About the 3rd week when i started to feel better, i got this thumping in my head, but NO headaches or pain whatsoever. Then i got this echo feeling in my head - crazy shit

2 months pass and a few days ago same crap happened again, but not as bad. I continue my same WO in the morning on an empty stomach and i hate myself for not drinking more water. It's been 5 days and im still a little dizzy though i was able to drive and work. I havent worked out since the 2nd hit.

This has never happened before. Im pretty dam fit and healthy with no health problems of any. This stuff scares me. It's like a lack of blood flow to the brain or something, but i have no headaches.

The sad part is i had to suck up that ER bill because i have no insurance = dumbazz. So i signed up for insurance and it starts in jan. Im going in for a cat scan and a full physical to make sure nothing funny's going on

Anyone have something similar?<:(

Make sure your eating enough, resting enough, and water of course... those are the basics.

Earlier this year while doing an excersize I got a throbbing sensation in my brain, wasn't painful but it felt like I was gonna pass out or something. I didn't workout for a few days, then same thing happened again. I waited a week, then hit the weights again and was back to normal.

Have your thyroid checked. Are you sure it's not anxiety? That shit can come on real quick for no reason whatsoever. I've battled with it for years, but I have it under control.

yea first of all man I would never work out on an empty stomach... most of the energy you use to workout is drawm from the calories in the food that you eat, so if you have no food in your system you'll start drawing from your muscle storage, thus defeating the purpose of lifting weights. Water is essential especially if your supplementing with anything... protein, creatine different stacks, NO whatever. I'd have to agree with the other advice here eat and drink water. The pain I've had before is a shock in ur brain i didn't kno what the hell it was its happened when i wasn't lifiting. I didnt think too much of it, but it can be scary. Maybe someone can research it because I dont know what it is.

"its okay, its okay to faint in the gym, i faint in the gym all the time, all the time"

-Arnold Schwarzenegger (pumping iron)

i knwo this isnt helpful, but my friend uses this quote at school all the time.

I love that video.

But anyway the passing out part Arnold is talking about is after doing a very intense session. He didn't mean anything about not having energy and such.
