Can anyone here recommend a free online poker website? One where they do not require your credit card details or other personal information.

I do not want to play for money, I just want to play for fun.

bodog.com, i play there all the time. U can play for free i don't but its a secure site so your money is safe.

pokerstars and partypoker, and basically all the other big money sites have free tables to play on with play money. i know pokerstars actually has "free rolls". Those are tournaments where you dont have to pay anything to play, but if you win, you get to play in a tournament for real money. They're just really hard to win, usually about 6000 people play in each

I don't know shit about poker, but I'd really like to learn. I need to find out more about this game, but I'm afraid I'm going to get my ass kicked bad enough that it will be too expensive to learn.

Thanks a lot guys for the information, I will check the sites out.

There was an amateur tournament on Channel 4 (British TV) shown last month and it was really enjoyable to watch, the table was glass so the viewers could see what cards the players held.

I think the game was called "No limit texas holdem", something like that.

Many of the contestants played poker online.

pokerstars, a friend of mine has won over 200 bucks from putting in 100.. hes been paid and still plays.

Most poker sites are going to be reputable. The issue for people like myself is going to be NOT getting my ass kicked.

Oh, I agree with you totally.. im in the same boat. Poker doesn't interest me all that much though, unlike my friend.

Oh, I'd love to be a badass at poker, but I just know I'll never have what it takes naturally and I"ll never have the time to learn.
